Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the correlation between Grit to Employability Skills. The subject studied were undergraduate worker at Mercu Buana University. Purposive sampling method was used in this study with a total sample of 220 respondents. The Grit measure from Duckworth, 2007 with reliability of 0.821 and the employability skills measure consists of 96 items with reliability 0.874. the results of this study have a value and coefficient correlation r = 0.362 (p = 0.000), which indicates the presence of a correlation between grit and employability skills in working students Mercu Buana University. Keywords : grit, employability skills, undergraduate worker Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat adanya hubungan antara Grit dengan Employability Skills. Subjek yang diteliti adalah mahasiswa bekerja yang sedang yang sedang menempuh pendidikan program sarjana di Universitas Mercu Buana. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling Purposive dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 220 responden. Alat ukur Grit dari Duckworth, 2007 dengan reliabilitas 0.821 dan alat ukur employability skills terdiri dari 96 pernyataan dengan reliabilitas 0.874. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki nilai dan koefisien korelasi r = 0.362 (p = 0.000) yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara grit dan employability skills pada pekerja yang sedang menempuh pendidikan program sarjana di Universitas Mercu Buana Kata Kunci : grit, employability skills, pekerja yang sedang menempuh pendidikan
