Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with bullying behavior in students of MAN 1 Jakarta. Research using quantitative methods. The population of this study was 355 students. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling techniques and the data collection techniques was carried out using a questionnaire. Sampels of respondents obtained as many as 188 respondent consisting 0f 86 male studentsand 102 famele students. Based on the results of data analysis performed with the spearman correlation techniques using SPSS 23 for windows the value of r = 0,134 with p = 0,067 > 0,05, indicates there is no significant relationship between emotional intelligence with students bullying behavior in students at MAN 1 Jakarta. Keywords: Emotional intelligence, Bullying Behavior, Students Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku bullying pada siswa di MAN 1 Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 355 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Sampel responden yang di dapatkan sebanyak 188 responden yang terdiri dari 86 siswa laki-laki dan 102 siswa perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan dengan teknik uji korelasi spearman dengan menggunakan SPSS 23 for windows diperoleh nilai r = 0,134 dengan p = 0,067 ; p > 0,05, menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku bullying pada siswa di MAN 1 Jakarta.
