Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is a relationship between the growth mindset and learning agility at PT. X because the company is conducting a development program by way of competency certification for all employees. The design/method/research approach is based on survey data from 644 employees of a Retail company operating in all major cities in Indonesia. Respondents used as research samples are staff level because they feel staff are the spearhead of an organization because they are dealing directly with customers and staff are cadre as future leaders. Mindset growth items use unidimensional items and for learning agility, there are 7 dimensions with 42 items, but there are 2 items removed because they do not meet the criteria. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between growth mindset and learning agility with the results of the correlation coefficient of p = 0.000 (r = 0.533), it can be concluded that the higher one's growth mindset, the higher the learning agility. Analysis was also conducted between the growth mindset items and the learning agility dimension, the highest results were in the drive to excel dimension, which was p = 0.000 (r = 0.436), which means that someone who has growth mindset would tend to have a target and always try to learn and look for ideas in order to achieve these targets. Keywords: Growth Mindset, Learning Agility. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis apakah ada hubungannya antara growth mindset dengan learning agility pada PT. X karena perusahaan tersebut sedang melakukan program pengembangan dengan cara sertifikasi kompetensi untuk semua karyawan. Desain / metodologi / pendekatan penelitian ini didasarkan pada data survei dari sampel berjumlah 644 karyawan dari sebuah perusahaan retail yang beroperasi tersebar diseluruh kota besar di Indonesia. Responden yang dijadikan sampel penelitian adalah level staff karena dirasa staff adalah ujung tombak daripada sebuah organisasi karena berhadapan langsung dengan pelanggan serta staff adalah kaderisasi sebagai calon pemimpin di masa depan. Item growth midnset menggunakan item unidimensional dan untuk learning agility ada 7 dimensi dengan 42 item namun ada 2 item yang di buang karena tidak memenuhi kriteria. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara growth mindset dengan learning agility degan hasil koefisien korelasi sebesar p= 0.000 (r= 0.533), dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi growth minset seseorang maka akan semakin tinggi pula learning agility. Analisis juga dilakukan antara item growth mindset dengan dimensi learning agility diperoleh hasil yang paling tinggi adalah pada dimensi drive to excel yaitu p= 0.000 (r= 0.436) yang artinya seseorang yang mempunyai growth minset maka akan cenderung mempunyai target dan selalu berusaha untuk belajar serta mencari ide ide dalam rangka mencapai target tersebut.
