Abstract

This study was made to determine the relationship between the use of social media (Instagram) and academic procrastination in students of the Faculty of Psychology at the University x. This research uses quantitative research methods with Non-Probablity Sampling techniques. The population taken was 660 respondents, with a sample of 250 respondents. The results of this study show the relationship between the use of social media (Instagram) with academic procrastination in psychology students. With the results of directional research, which means the higher the use of social media (Instagram), the higher the level of academic procrastination. Keywords: - Procrastination, Intensity of Media Social, Intensity Instagram Users Penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara penggunaan media sosial (instagram) dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa fakultas psikologi di universitas x. penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik Non-Probablity Sampling. Populasi yang diambil sebanyak 660 responden, dengan Sample sebanyak 250 responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan adanya hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial (instagram) dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa psikologi. Dengan hasil penelitian se – arah yang berarti semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan media sosial (instagram), makan semakin tinggi juga tingkat prokrastinasi akademiknya. Kata Kunci: - Prokrastinasi akademik, intensitas media sosial, intensitas penggunaan instagram
