Abstract

This study examines the relationship between cheating behavior caused by a lack of confidence and also one's ability or also due to the influence of peers, the purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a relationship between self efficacy or conformity variables with someone's cheating behavior and in This research uses a quantitative approach, the sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling technique with N = 255 respondents, while the criteria used are 7th, 8th and 9th grade students, data taken using cheating behavior scale with 33 items statement and self an efficacy scale with 10 statement items, and also uses a scale of conformity using 20 statement items. Hypothesis analysis used is Spearman’s Rho with a result of 0.172> 0.05, resulting that there is no relationship between self efficacy and cheating behavior while the results differ 0,000 <0.05 that there is a relationship between conformity and cheating behavior in "X" Junior High School in Jakarta. Keywords: Self Efficacy, Conformity, Cheating Behavior Penelitian ini meneliti mengenai Hubungan perilaku menyontek seseorang yang disebabkan karena dari kurangnya keyakinan dan juga kemampuan yang dimiliki seseorang atau juga disebabkan karena pengaruh dari teman sebaya, tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mencari apakah ada hubungan antara variabel self efficacy ataupun konformitas dengan perilaku menyontek seseorang dan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan adalah teknik proportionate stratified random sampling dengan N = 255 responden, sementara kriteria yang dipakai yaitu siswa kelas 7, 8 dan kelas 9, data diambil dengan menggunakan skala perilaku menyontek dengan 33 item pernyataan dan self efficacy scale dengan 10 item pernyataan, dan juga memakai skala konformitas dengan memakai 20 item pernyataan. Analisa hipotesis yang dipakai adalah Spearman’s Rho dengan hasil 0,172 > 0,05, menghasilkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara self efficacy dengan perilaku menyontek sementara hasil berbeda 0,000 < 0,05 bahwa terdapat hubungan antara konformitas dengan perilaku menyontek di SMP “X” di Jakarta.
