Abstract

This study has a purpose to know the empirical influence of motivation and discipline in job performance of Governance Employee in Lebak Regency. In this study develops survey instrument and the type of this study is quantitative research. The result indicates that motivation had an effect on job performance significantly, this evidenced by score of t-test where t-score is greater than t-table. Correlation between variable motivation and job performance of employee is strongly related. Significantly, work discipline also had an effect on job performance. This evidenced by score of t-test where t-score is greater than t- table. The correlation of work discipline and job performance strongly related. Motivation and discipline simultaneously had a significant effect on job performance. This evidenced by f-test where f-score is greater than f-table. The correlation between variable motivation and work discipline strongly related. For variable motivation, the dimension of job achievement has a coefficient of regression and greatest correlation. For variable work discipline, the dimension of awareness has a coefficient regression and big correlation Keyword: Motivation, Work Discipline, Job Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Motivasi dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Di Lingkungan Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Lebak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan motivasi secara parsial berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji t dimana thitung lebih besar dari ttabel. Korelasi antara variabel motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah cukup kuat. Disiplin kerja secara parsial berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji t dimana thitung lebih besar dari ttabel. Korelasi antara disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah kuat. Motivasi dan disiplin secara simultan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji F dimana Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel. Korelasi antara variabel motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah kuat. Untuk variabel motivasi dimensi prestasi kerja mempunyai koefisien regresi dan korelasi paling besar. Untuk variabel disiplin kerja dimensi kesadaran mempunyai koefisien regresi dan korelasi paling besar. Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Disiplin Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai
