Abstract

The research aims are to examine and to analyze the influence of motivation and discipline toward employee work performance in Institut Sains dan Teknologi Al-Kamal. Data was collected through quistioner and it was implemented to Institut Sains dan Teknologi Al-Kamal’s 161 employees. This research sampling technique used census method and used validity test by product moment and alpha cornbach reliability test. This research also used classic assumption test and double linier regression analysis, to verify and to prove research hypothesis. Analysis results demonstrate that motivation has positive significant and weak influence toward employee performance. Discipline has positive significant and weak influence toward employee performance and motivation with discipline simultanly has positive significant and weak influence toward employee performance. Keywords: Motivation, Discipline and Employee Works Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Institut Sains dan Teknologi Al-Kamal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuisioner dan dilaksanakan pada 161 karyawan dan dosen tetap Institut Sains dan Teknologi Al- Kamal. Teknik sampling yang dipakai adalah metode sensus, sedang teknik pengujian data meliputi uji validitas dengan analisis product moment dan uji reliabilitas dengan Alpha Cronbach. Uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi linier berganda, untuk menguji dan membuktikan hasil hipotesis. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh positif signifikan lemah terhadap kinerja karyawan. Disiplin berpengaruh positif signifikan lemah terhadap kinerja karyawan dan motivasi dan disiplin secara simultan berpengaruh positif signifikan lemah terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Disiplin, dan Kinerja Karyawan.
