Abstract
Convention Hotels can be defined as places that carry out the main activities of convention and exhibition programs, both on a national and international scale. Usually located in the city center, and business areas and serves to provide facilities, services and accommodation facilities that are tailored to the character of the convention. heritage is agreed upon as a heritage. Indonesian heritage includes Heritage Natural, Cultural Heritage and Saujana Heritage. Heritage is a special natural form. Pusaka Budaya is the result of the creation, taste, intention and special work of more than 500 ethnic groups in the homeland of Indonesia, individually, as a unity of the Indonesian nation, and in its interaction with other cultures throughout its history. Therefore the hotel must be able to answer the challenge by applying local culture with the concept of design in heritage hotels and prambanan conventions. Keywords: hotel, convention, local culture, heritage, international. Hotel Konvensi dapat di definisikan sebagai tempat yang menyelenggarakan kegiatan utama program konvensi dan pameran, baik dalam skala nasional maupun internasional. Biasanya terletak di pusat kota, dan area bisnis dan berfungsi menyediakan fasilitas, layanan dan kemudahan akomodasi yang disesuaikan dengan karakter para pelaku konvensi. heritage disepakati sebagai pusaka. Pusaka (heritage) Indonesia meliputi Pusaka Alam, Pusaka Budaya, dan Pusaka Saujana. Pusaka Alam adalah bentukan alam yang istimewa. Pusaka Budaya adalah hasil cipta, rasa, karsa, dan karya yang istimewa dari lebih 500 suku bangsa di tanah air Indonesia, secara sendiri-sendiri, sebagai kesatuan bangsa Indonesia, dan dalam interaksinya dengan budaya lain sepanjang sejarah keberadaannya. Oleh karena itu hotel harus dapat menjawab tantangan dengan cara mengaplikasikan budaya setempat dengan konsep rancangan pada hotel heritage dan konvensi prambanan. Kata kunci : hotel, konvensi, Budaya lokal, heritage, internasional.
