Abstract
Social Science Subject was learned at 4th grade in elementary school is learn about Indonesian natural visibility. Some properties are needed to learn Indonesian natural visibility. The terms to learn this subject is that the students must know the location of the province. For that, we need some properties like globe, atlas, and blind map. But many students are still have difficulty in memorizing the location of the province, another problems are the low level of reading interest and students are easily forget when memorizing. To solve that problems, we need a learning media that help students in memorizing the location of the province, which is an interactive media complemented by interesting content to introducing each province in Indonesia. More over technological developments nowadays have entered the world of education. So this case who became interest of the writer to integrate technology as a learning media for students which is to develope a blind map based on augmented reality that uses smartphone which contain games that makes learning more interactive and interesting. Keyword : blind map, augmented reality, Smarthpone, IPS Mata pelajaran IPS yang diajarkan di tingkat sekolah dasar kelas IVadalah belajar kenampakan alam Indonesia. Dibutuhkan alat peraga untuk belajar materi kenampakan alam Indonesia, syarat untuk belajar materi ini adalah anak harus mengetahui letak provinsi di Indonesia. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu alat peraga yaitu globe, atlas dan peta buta. Namun masih banyak anak yang masih kesulitan dalam menghafal letak provinsi, banyak kendala yang dialami siswa diantaranya minat baca yang kurang dan anak mudah lupa ketika menghafal. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut diperlukan sebuah media belajar anak yang membantu dalam menghafal letak provinsi yaitu sebuah media yang interaktif yang disertai konten yang menarik dalam mengenalkan provinsi di Indonesia. Apalagi kini perkembangan teknologi sudah masuk ke dunia pendidikan. Hal inilah yang menjadi ketertarikan penulis ingin memadukan teknologi sebagai media belajar anak yaitu mengembangkan peta buta berbasis augmented realityyang penggunannya menggunakan Smarthponeyang didalmanya terdapat konten bermain sehingga membuat belajar lebih interaktif dan menarik.
