Abstract

Earphones have become a necessity used for listening to music, making phone calls, and video calls. There are still many users who use cable earphones because wired earphones are additional accessories that are obtained on the purchase of gadgets. The use of earphones requires a place to store to keep wired earphones from the risk of damage. This opportunity is used by business people by creating a product to meet user needs, namely earphone cases. Many types of earphone cases that have been circulating in the market with various forms and designs, one of which is the product of earphone cases that have used the rewind spring system. Earphone case rewind spring offers the convenience of users of earphones when going to roll cables so it is more efficient and intercepts so that the earphone cable is not tangled when it wants to use it. In rewind spring earphone case products, there are still weaknesses which become an opportunity to make rewind spring earphone case products with designs and shapes according to user needs. Users need a flexible size earphone that is easy to carry because most users need earphones when on the road, such as when making phone calls or video calls and listening to music to just fill their spare time to relax for a while on the road. The author designed the design of the earphone case considering the components found in cable earphones in general. Keywords : Earphone, Earphone Case, Rewind Spring Earphone sudah menjadi kebutuhan yang digunakan untuk mendengarkan musik, melakukan panggilan telepon, dan panggilan video call. Pengguna masih banyak yang menggunakan earphone kabel karena earphone kabel merupakan aksesoris tambahan yang didapat pada pembelian gadget. Penggunaan earphone membutuhkan tempat untuk menyimpan agar menjaga earphone kabel dari resiko kerusakan. Peluang ini dimanfaatkan pelaku bisnis dengan menciptakan sebuah produk untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna yaitu earphone case. Banyak jenis earphone case yang sudah beredar di pasaran dengan bentuk dan desain yang beragam salah satunya adalah adanya produk earphone case yang telah menggunakan sistem rewind spring. Earphone case rewind spring menawarkan kemudahan pengguna earphone pada saat akan menggulung kabel sehingga lebih efisien dan mencegar agar kabel earphone tidak kusut saat ingin digunakan. Pada produk earphone case rewind spring masih terdapat kelemahan yang menjadi peluang untuk membuat produk earphone case rewind spring dengan desain dan bentuk sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Pengguna membutuhkan earphone case dengan ukuran yang fleksibel sehingga mudah dibawa karena sebagian besar pengguna membutuhkan earphone pada saat di jalan, seperti pada saat melakukan panggilan telepon atau video call dan mendengarkan musik untuk sekedar mengisi waktu luang untuk bersantai sejenak dijalan. Penulis merancang desain earphone case mempertimbangkan komponen ‐ komponen yang terdapat pada earphone kabel pada umumnya. Kata Kunci: Earphone, Earphone case, Rewind Spring
