Abstract

ABSTRAK PT Denso Indonesia adalah sebuah perusahaan Indonesia yang merupakan pelopor dalam pembuatan komponen otomotif. PT Denso Indonesia mendapat proyek untuk mengembangkan lini produksi untuk memproduksi model baru kipas pendingin 45S. Model baru 45S mengambil bentuk dan spesifikasi dasar dari sebuah model 45M. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah, dua model ini memiliki tampilan yang cukup identik, namun harus diproduksi pada lini produksi yang sama. Untuk mencegah terjadinya gagal produksi seperti part tertukar dan lain sebagainya, maka dilakukan analisa dan perbaikan menggunakan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analize, Improve, & Control) sebagai tahapan perbaikan dan PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) sebai tolok ukur pengujian perbaikan. Setelah proses analisis dan brainstorming, maka perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah memasang pokayoke untuk membedakan komponen kipas pendingin model 45S & 45M. Perbaikan ini mampu menurunkan RPN (Risk Priority Number) salah satu proses perakitan dari yang awalnya 126 menjadi 36. Kombinasi DMAIC dan PFMEA cukup efektif dalam mempersiapkan lini produksi model baru kipas pendingin 45S. Kata kunci: DMAIC, Define, Measure, Analize, Improve, Control, PFMEA, RPN, Otomotif. ABSTRACT PT Denso Indonesia is an Indonesian company that is a pioneer in manufacturing automotive components. PT Denso Indonesia received a project to develop a production line to produce a new model of the 45S cooling fan. The new 45S takes the shape and basic specifications of the 45M model. The problem is, these two models have quite identical appearance, but must be produced on the same production line. To prevent production failures such as swapped parts and so on, analysis and improvement are carried out using DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, & Control) as a repair step and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) as a benchmark for testing improvements. After the analysis and brainstorming process, the improvements made were installing pokayokes to differentiate the components of the 45S & 45M cooling fan. This improvement was able to reduce the RPN (Risk Priority Number) of one of the assembly processes from 126 to 36 initially. The combination of DMAIC and PFMEA was quite effective in preparing the production line for the new 45S cooling fan model.
