Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. TMMIN menggunakan Toyota Production System (TPS) sebagai sistem produksinya. Salah satu pilarnya adalah Just In Time (JIT), yang didalamnya terdapat takt time dan cycle time. PT. TMMIN bagian Assembly line POS 2 Cylinder Block memiliki cycle time 184 detik sedangkan ketentuan takt time 180 detik. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi gerakan Non-Value Added (NVA) serta menghitung nilai efisiensi dan menghilangkan gerakan NVA dengan usulan kaizen karakuri. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa POS 2 Cylinder Block memiliki aktivitas Value Addded (VA) sebanyak 16, aktivitas Necessary Non Value Added (NNVA) sebanyak 19 dan aktivitas Non Value Added (NVA) sebanyak 7 dengan nilai efisiensi sebesar 78%. Setelah mengetahui keadaan aktual perusahaan, maka dilakukan usulan perbaikan kaizen karakuri dan dapat mengurangi 2 aktivitas NVA dengan waktu 4 detik. Jika usulan perbaikan diterapkan, maka cycle time pada POS 2 Cylinder Block menjadi 180 detik dan nilai efisiensi menjadi 80%. Kata kunci: NVA, PAM, Kaizen, Karakuri. ABSTRACT PT. TMMIN uses the Toyota Production System (TPS) as its production system. One of the pillars is Just In Time (JIT), which includes the Tactical Time and Cycle Time. PT. TMMIN, the assembly line part of the POS 2 Cylinder Block, has a cycle time of 184 seconds, while the provision is 180 seconds of tact time. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the Non-Value Added (NVA) movement and to calculate the value of efficiency and eliminate the NVA movement using the kaizen karakuri method. The analysis showed that POS 2 Cylinder Block had 16 Value Added (VA) activities, 19 N Need Non Value Added (NNVA) activities and 7 Non Value Added (NVA) activities with an efficiency value of 78%. After the standby state, prepare kaizen repair and can reduce NVA activity by 4 seconds. If applied, the cycle time at POS 2 Cylinder Block will be 180 seconds and the efficiency value will be 80%.
