Abstract

The nursing home is a place of residence for both elderly women and men. With a variety of reasons, the elderly choose to live in nursing homes for the good of the elderly and the more they grew older, the person would experience physical changes such as slow movements and some difficulties in carrying out activities. So the existence of a nursing home will help the elderly to fulfill all their needs because the institution has nurses who are ready to serve the needs of the residents of the nursing home. One of the nursing homes that will be used in the execution of this final project is the Panti Werdha Kasih Ayah Bunda located in the city of Tangerang, the purpose of designing this nursing home is to complete facilities that may not be available. Panti werdha merupakan tempat tinggal bagi orang lanjut usia baik wanita ataupun pria. Dengan berbagai macam alasan, lansia tersebut memilih untuk tinggal di panti werdha demi kebaikan lansia tersebut dan semakin bertambahnya usia maka seseorang akan mengalami perubahan fisik seperti pergerakan menjadi lambat dan mengalami beberapa kesulitan dalam menjalankan aktifitas. Maka dengan adanya panti werdha tersebut akan membantu para lansia untuk memenuhi semua kebutuhannya dikarenakan panti tersebut memiliki suster atau perawat yang siap melayani kebutuhan para penghuni panti werdha. Salah satu panti werdha yang akan digunakan dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir ini adalah Panti Werdha Kasih Ayah Bunda yang berlokasi di Kota Tangerang, tujuan merancang panti werdha ini yaitu untuk melengkapi fasilitas-fasilitas yang mungkin belum tersedia di panti tersebut.
