Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu industri kosmetik. Pada industri kosmetik ini terdapat Mesin Filling IWK yang berfungsi untuk melakukan pengisian bahan/cairan vitamin ke dalam kemasan primer yang berbentuk tube. Kapasitas Mesin Filling IWK adalah 60.000 unit per hari. Permasalahan yang menjadi fokus pada penelitian ini dikarenakan mesin Filling IWK memiliki tingkat downtime yang tinggi yaitu mencapai 29% dalam kurun waktu produksi bulan Juli 2019 sampai dengan Desember 2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengimplementasikan Total Preventive Maintenance menggunakan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Dari perhitungan OEE yang dilakukan, didapatkan nilai sebesar 57% dengan nilai Availability Rate sebesar 72%, Performance Rate sebesar 78%, dan Quality Rate sebesar 99,4%. Nilai Availability Rate dan Performance Rate yang masih jauh di bawah nilai standar, menyebabkan perlunya dilakukan analisa six big losses untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab kegagalan mesin yang terjadi. Dari analisa six big losses diketahui bahwa Breakdown (13,6%), Set up and Adjustment (10%), Waiting Time (3,5%), dan Change Over (2,1%) Kata Kunci: : Total Preventive Maintenance, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Six Big, Downtime, Mesin Filling, Industri Kosmetik ABSTRACT This research was conducted in a cosmetic industry. In the cosmetics industry, there is an IWK filling machine that functions to fill vitamin ingredients / liquids into tube-shaped primary packaging. The capacity of the IWK filling machine is 60,000 units per day. The problem that is the focus of this research is because the IWK filling machine has a high downtime rate, reaching 29% in the production period from July 2019 to December 2019. This research was conducted to implement Total Preventive Maintenance using the calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). From the OEE calculations carried out, the value was 57% with an Availability Rate of 72%, a Performance Rate of 78%, and a Quality Rate of 99.4%. The Availability Rate and Performance Rate values are still far below the standard values, causing the need to analyze six big losses to identify the causes of machine failure.
