Abstract

Persaingan di industri otomotif khususnya di Indonesia cukup ketat. OEM otomotif mengharuskan pemasok mereka, baik Tier-1 maupun Tier-2, untuk secara konsisten memasok produk berkualitas. Salah satu indikator evaluasi pemasok adalah kinerja kualitas dengan parameter deteksi kualitas produk yang abnormal dari Supplier ke OEM otomotif, dan bahkan ke pengguna akhir jika ini terjadi pada sepeda motor. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi resiko kegagalan produk part supplier ke customer sepeda motor OEM, dengan melihat risiko kegagalan proses produksi dan mencari faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kegagalan assembling di OEM antara supplier lain atau di Tier-2. Metode analisis untuk penelitian ini menggunakan integrasi antara Root Cause Analysis-AIAG-VDA PFMEA dan Multi Domain Matrix, dengan pendekatan analisa produk dan proses penyebab utama mulai dari kasus terdekat atau terjadinya pelanggaran abnormal pada instalasi atau Assembling di OEM bahkan pengguna akhir sepeda motor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa salah satu supplier yang memperoleh nilai terendah yaitu produk Cap Camshaft, pada proses pengecoran terjadi kerusakan retak pada produk. Penyebab keretakan dengan menganalisis proses pengecoran ditemukan karena lambat proses pendinginan pada proses casting dan mendapatkan faktor lain bahwa ada faktor lain yaitu ketidakstabilan daerah perakitan baut menyebabkan retak pada penutup camshaft. Faktor part Tier-2 yaitu Bolt flange dan Camshaft juga mempengaruhi proses Assembly di customer dengan jika salah satu tidak berfungsi maka mempengaruhi putaran camshaft dan Head Cylinder tidak berfungsi atau Stop running. Item yang ditingkatkan menstandarisasi arah pelumasan Die on Dies Spray Nozzle dan meningkatkan tingkat deteksi abnormal, terutama retakan dengan item inspeksi detektor warna. Kemudian standard parameter die lube casting dicari menggunakan metode Design of Experiment dengan hubungan jumlah Nozzle die lube kearah suspect blow hole dan lama waktu spray setelah proses die lube. Tujuan dari usulan perbaikan adalah untuk menganalisis proses dengan pola peramalan risiko dan menghindari kegagalan proses bahkan mengalir ke customer. Hasilnya resiko kegagalan proses crack bisa dihilangkan dengan memonitoring selama 20000 shot casting cap camshaft. Competition in the typical automotive industry in Indonesia is quite tight. Automotive OEMs require their suppliers, either Tier-1 or Tier-2, to consistently supply quality products. One of the supplier evaluation indicators is quality with abnormal product quality detection parameters from the Supplier to the automotive OEM, etc. to the end user if this happens on the motor bike. To that end, this study aims to find the risk of products supplied to OEM motor bike customers, by looking at production process differences and looking for other factors that differentiate assembly problems in OEM between other suppliers or in Tier-2. The analysis method for this study uses integration between Root Cause Analysis-AIAG-VDA PFMEA and Multi Domain Matrix, with various product analyzes and main cause processes starting from the nearest case or occurrence of abnormal violations on installation or Installation in OEM end user motorbikes. The results of the study showed that one of the lowest value suppliers, namely Cap Camshaft products, during the casting process there was crack damage on the product. The cause of cracking by analyzing the casting process was found because of the slow process delayed in the casting process and get other factors there are other factors namely the instability of the bolt assembly area causing cracks on the camshaft cover. The Tier-2 part factor i.e. Bolt flange and Camshaft also performs the Installation process on the customer with if one does not work and does not work then the rotation of the camshaft and Head Cylinder does not work or Stop running. The upgraded item standardizes the lubrication direction of the Die on Dies Spray Nozzle and improves the level of abnormal detection, specifically cracks with color detector inspection items Then the standard die lubricant casting parameters were searched using the Design of Experimental (DoE) method with the relationship between the number of die lubricant nozzles against the suspect blowing hole and the spray time after the die lubricant process. The purpose of the proposed improvement is to analyze the process with risk forecasting patterns and avoid process failures even flowing to the customer. As a result, the risk of cracking process failure can be eliminated by monitoring 20000 shot casting cap camshafts.
