Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada era globalisasi saat ini, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi berkembang dengan pesatnya dan informasi dengan mudah dapat diakses dimanapun kapanpun dan oleh siapapun. Kemudahan ini memberikan kesempatan kepada semua orang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan atau skill-nya masing – masing. Dengan latar belakang ini, organisasi internasional bernama Worldskills International menyelenggarakan kompetisi antar negara yang ada diseluruh dunia tiap dua tahun sekali yang bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan antar negara yang mengikuti kompetisi ini dan secara tidak langsung juga bentuk upaya meningkatkan kemampuan atau skill. Dibawah Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, PT.DENSO INDONESIA (DNIA) turut berpartisipasi dalam kompetisi ini sejak tahun 2007 hingga tahun 2019 total tujuh kali DNIA telah berpartisipasi, namun belum pernah mencapai target yang diinginkan yaitu menjadi yang terbaik pada kompetisi ini. Untuk itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap sistem kerja yang ada dengan menggunakan pendekatan methods analysis, studi gerakan dan penerapan ekonomi gerakan agar kompetisi berikutnya yang akan diadakan di Shanghai, China pada tahun 2021 dapat mencapai target yang diinginkan, dan mengharumkan nama Indonesia di kancah internasional. Kata kunci : skill, kompetisi, methods analysis, studi gerakan, ekonomi gerakan, evaluasi ABSTRACT In the era of globalization, science and technology are developing rapidly and information can easily be accessed anywhere, any time and by anyone. This convenience provides an opportunity for everyone to improve their abilities or skills respectively. With this background, an international organization called worldskills international organizes inter-country competitions around the world every two years which aims to measure the level of ability between countries participating in this competition and indirectly also forms an effort to improve the ability or skill. Under the ministry of education and culture, PT DENSO INDONESIA (DNIA) participated in this competition from 2007 until 2019, total of seven times participated, but had never achieved the desired target of being the best in this competition. So this research conducted to evaluate the existing work system using a method of analysis approach, motion study and the application of motion economics so that the next competition to be held in Shanghai, China in 2021 can achieve the desired target and make Indonesia famous in the international arena.
