Abstract
Tingginya tingkat produksi batubara nasional tentunya berbanding lurus dengan permintaan pengiriman batubara melalui transportasi laut. Meminimalisir keterlambatan pengiriman batubara menjadi fokus utama yang harus diselesaikan untuk memenuhi kepuasan pelangan, terutama untuk pengiriman batubara dari Kalimantan utara yang mencapai 29% waktu keterlambatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah dapat mengetahui nilai optimasi dalam memilih jalur terbaik dalam pengiriman Batubara melalui transportasi laut dan membuat desain aplikasi berbasis website agar mengurangi tingkat keterlambatan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dimana perhitungan menggunakan Algoritma Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) berdasarkan data sekunder dengan alat bantu GUI Matlab dan mendesain aplikasi berbasis website. Dalam analisis yang dilakukan dengan mencari jalur terbaik diperoleh hasil yaitu jarak tempuh sebesar 15.769 dari jarak tempuh awal 15.832. Dengan perhitungan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pencarian jalur terbaik menggunakan ACO dengan alat bantu GUI Matlab juga dapat diterapkan pada Transportasi Laut. Aplikasi berbasis website yang telah dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pencarian jalur terbaik dimana hal ini dapat membantu untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan pada penelitian ini, yaitu mendapatkan hasil jalur terbaik yang dapat digunakan. Sehingga mengurangi persentase keterlambatan pengiriman batubara. Perlunya mengembangkan kembali terkait dengan sinkronisasi data cuaca yang real time dengan perhitungan ACO, sehingga bisa didapatkan hasil yang lebih optimal dan terlihat dengan sangat jelas berbedaan antara sebelum menggunakan aplikasi dengan setelah menggunakan aplikasi. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi bagi transportasi laut khususnya industri perkapalan berdasarkan tujuan yang akan dicapai pada penelitian ini. The high level of national coal production is certainly directly proportional to the demand for coal shipments through sea transportation. Minimizing delays in coal shipments is the main focus that must be resolved to meet the satisfaction of pelangan, especially for coal shipments from north Kalimantan which reached 29% of delay time. The purpose of this study is to be able to find out the value of optimization in choosing the best path in coal delivery through sea transportation and create a website-based application design to reduce the level of delay. The study used a quantitative research method in which calculations using Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) Algorithms are based on secondary data with matlab GUI tools and their site-based application forms. In the analysis conducted by looking for the best path obtained the results, namely mileage of 15,769 from the initial mileage of 15,832. With these calculations, it can be concluded that the best route search method using ACO with Matlab GUI tools can also be applied to Marine Transportation. Website-based applications that have been designed according to the needs of the best path search where this can help to solve the problems in this research, namely getting the best path results that can be used. Thus reducing the percentage of delays in coal shipments. The need to redevelop is related to synchronizing real-time weather data with ACO calculations, so that more optimal results can be obtained and look very clearly different between before using the application and after using the application. Thus, this research is expected to provide recommendations for marine transportation, especially the shipping industry based on the goals to be achieved in this study.
