Abstract
Cakung - Cilincing road section is one of the national roads that connects Jakarta with Bekasi, there are many commercial vehicles that pass the road cerried overloads and causing pavement early failure . This study aims to determine the value of equivalent single axle load / ESAL (W18) in rigorous cases used the AASTHO 1993 method and the Bina Marga Method, calculated with vehicles carrled maximum permitted load and vehides carried overloading so the differences in equivalent single axle load (W18) values f revealed. Based on the equivalent single axle load / ESAL (W18) value on the Cakung - Cilincing Road Section, it can be concluded that the Equivalent Single Axle Load / ESAL (W18) difference in the Cakung - Cilincing road between the 1993 AASHTO method with the projection method I and the Bina Marga method, around 363 %, with a Bina Marga values greater than the 1993 AASTHO values it was caused by the R (Cumulative Traffic Growth Multiplier Factor). We the Equivalent Single Axle Load / ESAL (W18) difference in the Cakung - Cilincing road between the AASHTO method 1993 with the projection method II and the Bina Marga method, around 29 %, with the 1993 AASTHO value greater than the Bina Marga value. Keywords: Overload, rigid pavement, Equivalent single axle load / ESAL (W18) Pada ruas jalan Cakung – Cilincing merupakan salah satu jalan nasional yang menghubungkan Jakarta dengan Bekasi , adanya banyak kendaraan niaga yang melewati ruas jalan tersebut dengan muatan yang berlebih dan menimbulkan masalah seperti kerusakan dini pada perkerasaan jalan. Penelitiaan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai equivalent single axle load/ESAL(W18) pada perkerasaaan kaku menggunakan Metode AASTHO 1993 dan Metode Bina Marga, di hitung dengan keaadaan kendaraan bermuatan normal sesuai JBI/JBKI dan kendaraan bermuatan berlebih sehingga kita diketahui selisih nilai equivalent single axle load/ESAL(W18) dari kedau metode tersebut. Berdasarkan nilai equivalent single axle load/ESAL(W18) pada Ruas Jalan Cakung – Cilincing dapat disimpulkan bahwa Perbedaan nilai Equivalent Single Axle Load/ESAL (W18) di jalan Cakung – Cilincing antara metode AASHTO 1993 dengan metode proyeksi I dan metode Bina Marga, berkisar 363 %, dengan Nilai Bina Marga yang lebih besar dari pada Metode AASTHO 1993 hal itu disebabkan karena adanya R (Faktor Pengali Pertumbuhan Lalu Lintas Kumulatif) sedangkan Perdedaan nilai Equivalent Single Axle Load/ESAL (W18) di jalan Cakung – Cilincing antara metode AASHTO 1993 dengan metode proyeksi II dan metode Bina Marga, berkisar 29 %, dengan nilai AASTHO 1993 lebih besar dari pada nilai Bina Marga.
