Abstract

Forms of attempt that can be done by a company or an organization to develop its Human Resources is to improve their competencies and increase their compensation, with the result that their work motivation will emerge to carry out excellent work performance. Planning and improving the quality of Human Resources through training programs will improve their knowledge, skills and experience or changes in their attitudes that will impact on their work performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of competency, compensation and work motivation on employee performance as Customer Service at PT. MNC Bank Int. Tbk. The study used data from survey questionnaire on 35 permanent Customer Service employees at PT.MNC Bank Int. Tbk. in Jabotabek. The analysis used was multiple regression analysis to see the influence between dependent variable and independent variable. The result of the study simultaneously showed that competency, compensation and work motivation have influence on employee performance. Competence partially have influence on employee performance, compensation has influence on employee performance, and work motivation has influence on employee performance. This result is in accordance with the previous studies. Keywords: competency, compensation, work motivation, performance. Bentuk usaha yang dapat dilakukan perusahaan atau suatu organisasi untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusianya adalah dengan meningkatkan kompetensinya dan meningkatkan kompensasinya, sehingga timbul motivasi kerja pada diri karyawan dalam melaksanakan pekerjaannya untuk menghasilkan kinerja yang unggul. Pemberian dan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui program pelatihan akan berdampak pada peningkatan pengetahuan, ketrampilan dan pengalaman ataupun perubahan sikap karyawan yang pada akhirnya akan berdampak pada prestasi kerjanya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi, kompensasi dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan customer service PT. MNC Bank Int.Tbk. Pendekatannya adalah menggunakan data dari pengedaran survei kuesioner pada karyawan customer service PT.MNC Bank Int.Tbk. sebanyak 35 karyawan yang ada sejabotabek yang merupakan karyawan tetap. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda untuk melihat pengaruh antar variabel dependen dan variabel independen. Hasil penelitian secara simultan variabel kompetensi, kompensasi dan motivasi kerja mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, secara parsial kompetensi mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, kompensasi mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan motivasi kerja mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dan hal tersebut sesuai dengan peneliti terdahulu. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, Kompensasi, Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja.
