Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore receptivity of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) by employee of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical, Tbk. (CAP), which is one of biggest petrochemical industry in Indonesia. CAP has implemented all pillar of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) under JMAC guidance since 2012. This research was held during their way to achieve Award for TPM Excellence – Category A on 2015. This research uses questionaire, which the questions were being modified from Davis Jr.’s Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) questionaire. Questionaire was being targeted to reach 188 TPM Member, which including Operators, Lead Operators, Supervisor, Engineers, Superintendents / Senior Engineers, Section Managers, Department Manager, and General Manager. Eventually, 108 questionaires were returned. The results shown that the top five perception on TPM were: TPM is positive, TPM is beneficial, TPM is useful in their job, TPM is favourable, and TPM is good. Keyword : Petrochemical Industry, Total Productive Maintenance, Receptivity, Acceptance Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerimaan terhadap Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) oleh karyawan PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical, Tbk. (CAP), yang adalah salah satu pabrik petrokimia terbesar di Indonesia. CAP telah menerapkan semua pilar Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) dibawah bimbingan JMAC sejak tahun 2012. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam masa perjalanan CAP meraih Award for TPM Excellence – Category A pada tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, yang pertanyaannya dimodifikasi dari Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) pada kuesioner Davis Jr. Kuesioner ditargetkan dapat diisi oleh 188 member TPM, yang terdiri dari Operator, Lead Operator, Supervisor, Engineer, Superintendent / Senior Engineer, Section Manager, Department Manager, dan General Manager. Pada akhirnya, 108 kuesioner yang dikembalikan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa lima persepsi teratas terhadap TPM adalah TPM positif, TPM menguntungkan, TPM berguna dalam pekerjaan, TPM baik dan TPM bagus.
