Abstract

ABSTRAK Seiring perkembang zaman, inovasi beton sangat diperlukan di bidang konstruksi, karena tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwa material sumber daya alam yaitu pasir, kerikil, semen, dan air semakin lama semakin menipis. Pecahan keramik merupakan limbah dari pembangunan yang semakin banyak dan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengganti agregat kasar begitu juga Fly ash merupakan limbah hasil pembakaran batu bara yang mempunyai sifat pengikat sama seperti sifat semen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Limbah pecahan keramik dan fly ash sebagai bahan substitusi agregat kasar dan semen ditinjau dari kuat tekan beton. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan total benda uji 54 berbentuk silinder dengan ukuran 10cm x 20cm menggunakan variasi komposisi keramik 20%, 40%, 60%, dan fly ash 10%, 15%, 20%. Benda uji akan di uji slump untuk mengetahui workability dan kuat tekan pada hari ke 7 dan 28. Hasil uji slump menunjukan bahwa semakin banyak persentase keramik pada campuran beton, menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan nilai workability, dan semakin banyak persentase fly ash pada campuran beton, menyebabkan terjadinya peningkatan nilai workability. Dari hasil penelitian di dapat nilai uji kuat tekan tertinggi yaitu pada variasi subtitusi fly ash 10% dan keramik 40% dengan mencapai kuat tekan hancur rata-rata yaitu 13,23 Mpa. Pada setiap variasi dengan campuran keramik 40% mendapatkan nilai kuat tekan yang lebih tinggi dari pada variasi lainnya dengan nilai fly ash 15% keramik 40% mendapat nilai 11,93 Mpa, fly ash 20% keramik 40% mendapat nilai 10,79 Mpa. Maka didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa beton tersebut masuk kedalam kategori beton mutu rendah (10-<15 Mpa) yang umumnya digunakan untuk struktur ringan seperti lantai kerja, trotoar, dan juga plesteran. ABSTRACTAlong with the time’s evolution, concrete innovation is very necessary for construction industry, because it does not rule out the possibility that natural resources, namely sand, gravel, cement, and water are decreasing. Ceramic Fraction are an increasing waste of construction and can be used for coarse aggregate substitutes, similarly Fly ash is a waste product from the combustion of coal that has the same binding properties as cement. This research aim to determine the effect of using ceramic fraction and fly ash as a coarse aggregate and cement substitution material in terms of concrete compressive strength. In this research, researchers use experimental methods with a total of 54 specimens with a size of 10cm x 20cm using a variation of ceramic compositions 20%, 40%, 60%, and fly ash 10%, 15%, 20%. The specimen will be tested in the slump test to determine workability and compressive strength on days 7 and 28. Slump test results indicate that the more percentage of ceramics in the concrete mixture causes a decrease in the value of workability, And the more percentage of fly ash on the concrete mixture, causes an increase in the value of workability. From the results of the research, the highest value of compressive strength test was obtained, namely the variation of 10% fly ash substitution and ceramics 40% by achieving an average compressive strength test which is 13.23 MPa. In any each variation with ceramic mixture 40% get a higher compressive strength value than other variations with 15% fly ash and 40% ceramics it got a value of 11.93 Mpa, 20% fly ash and 40% ceramics its got a value of 10.79 Mpa. So the conclusion is that the concrete entered into the category of low-quality concrete (10-< 15 Mpa) which is commonly used for lightweight structures such as working floors, sidewalks, and also plastering Keywords: Eco-friendly materials, ceramic waste, Fly Ash, concrete, Mix design, Workability, Compressive Strength.
