Abstract
In an effort to increase the strength of the highway pavement structure especially the AC-WC laston pavement mixture using the hotmix mixture method, selection of filler types is an important requirement because it is a filling material that is smooth and can fill cavities or pores. One of the waste that has the opportunity as a material for making asphalt mixture is a glass powder with abundant availability and optimum utilization. For this reason, this research tries to find the effect of using clear glass powder in AC-WC laston pavement mixture by using the hotmix mixture method (General Specifications of Bina Marga Edition 2010). Marshall testing was carried out in 2 stages namely, in a mixture with portland cement filler to obtain KAO values obtained KAO values of 6.7% from variations in Asphalt Levels of 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5%, and 7%. and testing mixtures with glass powder filler variations to see changes in mixture characteristics and determine optimum filler levels. Variations in glass content used Glass Powder: Portland Cement ie 0%: 100%, 20%: 80%, 40%: 60%, 50%: 50%, 60%: 40%, 80%: 20% and 100%: 0% of filler weight was obtained. Optimum filler content was 11.5% Glass powder, 88.5% portland cement. Furthermore, to test the durability of the mixture carried out immersion 60 minutes before the Marshall Test. then seen IKS values at 60 minutes are at 92.91%, 89.53%, 99.09%, 94.37%, 94.04% and 92.02% in each variation of glass powder 20%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 80%, 100% Where all This value meets the IKS value requirement of> 75%. Keywords: glass powder, Filler, AC-WC and Marshall Test Dalam upaya meningkatkan kekuatan struktur perkerasan jalan raya khususnya campuran perkerasan laston AC-WC dengan menggunakan metode campuran hotmix, pemilihan jenis filler menjadi syarat penting karena merupakan bahan pengisi yang sifatnya halus dan dapat mengisi rongga atau pori. Salah satu limbah yang mempunyai peluang sebagai material penyusun campuran aspal adalah serbuk kaca yang ketersediannya melimpah dan belum optimum pemanfaatannya. Untuk itu penelitian ini mencoba mencari pengaruh penggunaan serbuk kaca clear glass dalam campuran perkerasan laston AC-WC dengan menggunakan metode campuran hotmix (Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga Edisi 2010). Pengujian Marshall dilakukan dalam 2 tahap yaitu, pada campuran dengan filler semen portland untuk mendapatkan nilai KAO didapat Nilai KAO 6.7% dari variasi Kadar Aspal 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5%, dan 7%. dan pengujian campuran dengan variasi filler serbuk kaca untuk melihat perubahan karakteristik campuran serta menentukan kadar filler optimum. Variasi kadar kaca yang digunakan Serbuk Kaca : Semen Portland yaitu 0% : 100%, 20% : 80%, 40% : 60%, 50% : 50%, 60% : 40%, 80% : 20% dan 100% : 0% terhadap berat filler didapat Kadar filler Optimum 11.5% serbuk Kaca, 88.5% semen portland. Selanjutnya untuk menguji durabilitas campuran dilakukan perendaman 60 menit sebelum Marshall Test. maka dilihat nilai IKS pada 60 menit berada pada 92.91%, 89.53%, 99.09%, 94.37%, 94.04% dan 92.02% di setiap variasi serbuk kaca 20%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 80%, 100% Dimana semua nilai tersebut memenuhi syarat nilai IKS yaitu >75%.
