Abstract
The research in this thesis discusses the measurement of performance in a shipping company PT. CY. There are two performance measurement in this research, first is the measurement used by the company at this time, and the second measuring performance using the balanced scorecard (BSC) method. The purpose of this study is to identify the performance measurement system of the company at this time, and then to measure the performance using the BSC and the last make improvements using the strategy map and table key performance indicators (KPIs) resulted. Weighting process for both perspective and key indicators using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). This study shows that the measurement method which company have right now is very inadequate, and balanced scorecard method be a precise measurement systems and needed by PT. CY. The final results of this study indicate that aspects in the order with the highest priority in efforts to increase the performance of PT. CY is the financial aspect 43.10%, then aspects of learning and growth of 37.37%, then aspects of internal business processes 14.47%, and the last is the aspect of customers 4.76% Keywords : performance, balanced scorecard, analytic hierarchy process (AHP), strategy map, key performance indicators (KPI) Penelitian dalam karya tulis ini membahas tentang pengukuran kinerja pada suatu perusahaan ekspedisi PT. CY. Pengukuran kinerja yang dilakukan adalah pengukuran yang digunakan perusahaan pada saat ini dan pengukuran kinerja dengan metode balanced scorecard (BSC). Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi sistem pengukuran kinerja yang dilakukan perusahaan pada saat ini, melakukan pengukuran kinerja dengan menggunakan metode BSC dan melakukan perbaikan dengan peta strategi dan tabel key performance indicators (KPI) yang dihasilkan penelitian ini. Proses pembobotan perspektif dan indikator-indikator utama penyusun tabel KPI menggunakan metode analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pengukuran yang dilakukan perusahaan saat ini sangat tidak memadai dan metode balanced scorecard menjadi sistem pengukuran yang tepat dan dibutuhkan PT. CY saat ini. Hasil akhir penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aspek yang menjadi urutan prioritas utama dalam usaha peningkatan kinerja PT. CY adalah aspek finansial 43,10%, kemudian aspek pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan 37,37%, kemudian aspek proses bisnis internal 14,47%, dan yang terakhir adalah aspek pelanggan 4,76% Kata kunci : kinerja, balanced scorecard, analytic hierarchy process (AHP), peta strategi, key performance indicators (KPI)
