Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of job satisfaction on the performance of employees at the Directorate of Religious Affairs of Islamic Guidance Society of The Republic of Indonesia. Problems were identified based on a study of 30 employees of which the salary received does not match the workload, employees lack the rewards when achieving work performance, employees are given less opportunity to develop themselves with co-workers, employee performance is still not optimal. The results showed a positive effect on job satisfaction, and significant impact on employee performance Directorate of Islamic Guidance. This means that changes in the value of job satisfaction have influence the direction of the change in performance. In other words, if the job satisfaction increases, there will be a significant increase in the influence on employee performance statistically. The independent variables in this study is job satisfaction. While the dependent variable is the performance of employees. Data collection methods used are literature study, observation and questionnaires. The study was conducted at the Directorate of Islamic Guidance, with a population of 279 people. Samples taken by the formula Slovin with an error rate of 5%, then the obtained sample of 164 people. The analytical method used in this study is a simple linear regression. The results showed job satisfaction positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Directorate General of Islamic Guidance Society means that changes in the value of job satisfaction have influence the direction of the change in the performance of an employee or in other words when the Job satisfaction increases, there will be an increase in the performance of employees and has had a statistically significant effect , Job Satisfaction dimension that most strongly affect the performance of officials at the Directorate General of Islamic Guidance Society is working condition with the value (3.26). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Direktorat Bimbingan Masyarakat Islam Kementrian Agama Republik Indonesia. Masalah yang diidentifikasi berdasarkan penelitian terhadap 30 orang pegawai di antaranya gaji yang diterima tidak sesuai dengan beban kerja, para pegawai kurang mendapatkan rewards apabila mencapai prestasi kerja, para pegawai kurang diberikan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan diri dengan rekan kerja, kinerja pegawai masih belum maksimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif, dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Pegawai Direktorat Bimas Islam. Artinya perubahan nilai kepuasan kerja mempunyai pengaruh searah terhadap perubahan kinerja. Dengan kata lain apabila kepuasan kerja meningkat, maka akan terjadi peningkatan secara signifikan yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai secara statistik. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kepuasan kerja. Sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kinerja pegawai. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui studi pustaka, observasi dan kuesioner. Penelitian dilakukan di Direktorat Bimas Islam, dengan jumlah populasi 279 orang. Sampel diambil dengan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%, maka didapatkan jumlah sampel 164 orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Direktorat Jendral Bimbingan Masyarakat Islam artinya perubahan nilai Kepuasan kerja mempunyai pengaruh searah terhadap perubahan kinerja pegawai atau dengan kata lain apabila Kepuasan kerja meningkat maka akan terjadi peningkatan kinerja pegawai dan secara statistik memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. Dimensi Kepuasan Kerja yang paling kuat mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai Direktorat Jendral Bimbingan Masyarakat Islam adalah kondisi kerja dengan nilai (3,26). Kata Kunci : Kepuasan Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai.
