Abstract

The high container repositioning process at PT. Multicon Indrajaya Terminal becomes a problem that must be resolved in the process of repositioning containers, the use of external fleets to make the process of repositioning of containers should be lowered that the high costs incurred by the company in the repositioning of containers using external fleet. Therefore, in the process of repositioning of containers in PT. Multicon Indrajaya Terminal required method of routing and scheduling to get the maximum repositioning using internal fleet and reduce the use of external fleets in the repositioning of containers. In this thesis, the process of repositioning of containers using the method of VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem) for determining the repositioning of containers and SJF (Shortest Job First) method for determining the scheduling of container repositioning. The system has been created for facilitating of container repositioning routing and scheduling called VRPScheduleRoute. Repositionung increased into higher result using VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem) methods and the distance becomes shorter than before, and also the process of repositioning would be scheduled with SJF (Shortest Job First) methods. Multicon Indrajaya Terminal menjadi masalah yang harus diselesaikan dalam melakukan proses reposisi petikemas, penggunaan armada eksternal untuk melakukan proses reposisi petikemas harus diturunkan menggingat tingginya biaya yang dikeluarkan perusahaan dalam melakukan reposisi petikemas menggunakan armada eksternal. Oleh sebab itu dalam melakukan proses reposisi petikemas di PT. Multicon Indrajaya Terminal dibutuhkan metode penentuan rute dan penjadwalan untuk mendapatkan hasil reposisi yang maksimal menggunakan armada internal dan mengurangi penggunaan armada eksternal dalam melakukan reposisi petikemas. Pada tesis ini proses reposisi petikemas ditentukan menggunakan metode VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem) dalam menentukan rute reposisi petikemas dan menggunakan metode SJF (Shortest Job First) dalam menentukan penjadwalan reposisi petikemas. Untuk memudahkan penguna, dibuat sebuah sistem penentuan rute reposisi petikemas dan penjadwalan yaitu VRPScheduleRoute. Dengan menggunakan metode VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem) dalam melakukan reposisi petikemas hasil reposisi menjadi lebih tinggi jarak tempuh menjadi lebih pendek dan proses reposisi menjadi terjadwal dengan metode SJF (Shortest Job First).
