Abstract

Regional art is the identity of a community in a certain area that comes from the habits of their ancestors, which later become part of the life of the community. The art displayed can develop and preserve cultural values that exist in society. Some local arts in West Java have long begun to experience extinction, the main cause of which is the lack of public awareness of cultural preservation. In order to increase public awareness and appreciation of local arts, it is necessary to take a dancing approach by conducting social campaigns. The design of this campaign will be conveyed through motion graphic media, motion graphics using moving audio and visuals are expected to make it easier for the audience to understand the cultural arts preservation campaign. Keywords: Social Campaign, Regional Art, Social Media, Motion Graphic Kesenian daerah merupakan identitas suatu masyarakat di daerah tertentu yang berasal dari kebiasaan turun – menurun nenek moyangnya, yang kemudian menjadi bagian hidup masyarakat tersebut. Seni yang ditampilkan dapat menumbuh kembangkan serta melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya yang ada didalam masyarakat. Beberapa kesenian daerah di Jawa Barat telah lama mulai mengalami kepunahan, yang penyebab utama yaitu kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pelestarian budaya. Guna meningkatkan kesadaran dan apresiasi masyarakat terhadap kesenian daerah, maka perlu dilakukan pendekatan yang menari dengan cara melakukan kampanye sosial. Perancangan kampanye ini akan disampaikan melalui media motion graphic, motion graphic yang menggunakan audio dan visual yang bergerak diharapkan dapat membuat audiens lebih mudah memahami kampanye pelestarian kesenian budaya tersebut.
