Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the management of the Public Relations Dept. of the Environment of West Jakarta in disseminating Garbage Bank program to the public, with the focus and the identification of problems related to Fact Finding, Planning, Actuating, Evaluating. This research use descriptive research type with qualitative approach. The method used is a case study by conducting in-depth interviews related to the informant. Based on the results of this study indicate that the process of implementation of the management of Public Relations at the Dept. of the Environment of West Jakarta using the functions of the management, including the Fact Finding find a focus problem that the pile of garbage and lack of public awareness of waste management, Planning plotting program Waste in the form of the Bank's activities, making the executive committee and Waste Bank Unit, Actuating provides facilities such as the location, the scale, passbook, rubbish transport truck. Evaluating assess the community's active participation, attitude change, and decrease tonnage of waste. Of management functions is deemed capable of making Garbage Bank program run effectively and efficiently. The conclusion of this study is the application of the Public Relations Management program is structured, planned and measured properly. This is evident from the responses of both the community and the public enthusiasm in participating Garbage Bank program and several related agencies that participate in the program are in the Trash Bank implementation is going well so as to improve the image of the organization, as well public awareness of waste reduction at the source. Keywords: Public Relations management, communication, message. 2009-2019 Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manajemen Public Relations Suku Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Jakarta Barat dalam mensosialisasikan program Bank Sampah kepada publiknya, dengan fokus dan identifikasi permasalahan terkait Fact Finding, Planning, Actuating, Evaluating. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian deskriptif degan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada narasumber terkait. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa proses pelaksanaan manajemen Public Relations di Suku Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Jakarta Barat ini menggunakan fungsi-fungsi yang ada pada manajemen, diantaranya adalah Fact Finding menemukan fokus masalah yaitu tumpukan sampah dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah, Planning menyusun rencana program berupa kegiatan Bank Sampah, membuat panitia pelaksana dan Bank Sampah Unit, Actuating menyediakan fasilitas berupa lokasi, alat timbangan, buku tabungan, mobil angkut sampah. Evaluating menilai partisipasi aktif masyarakat, perubahan sikap, dan pengurang tonase sampah. Dari fungsi-fungsi manajemen tersebut dirasa mampu membuat program Bank Sampah berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan Manajemen Public Relations pada program ini tersusun, terencana, dan terukur dengan baik. Hal ini terlihat dari tanggapan baik dari masyarakat serta antusiasnya masyarakat dalam ikut serta program Bank Sampah dan beberapa instansi yang ikut terkait dalam program Bank Sampah yang dalam pelaksaannya berjalan dengan baik sehingga bisa meningkatkan citra organisasi, kesadaran masyarakat sekaligus pengurangan sampah di sumbernya.
