Abstract

Dijaman era globalisasi, sering berkembangnya teknologi dan informasi yang semakin canggih dan berdampak pada meningkatnya penggunaan layanan komunikasi di Indonesia. Bagi perusahaan yang berbasis telekomunikasi sangatlah penting untuk memberikan kualitas layanan terbaik demi bersaing di pasar global. Perusahaan dituntut untuk terus menciptakan inovasi terbaru dalam setiap produk maupun layanannya. Situasi yang seperti ini mengharuskan karyawan untuk memunculkan perilaku inovatif demi tercapainya tujuan perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui adakah korelasi antara organizational climate dengan innovative work behavior pada karyawan yang bekerja di perusahaan bidang telekomunikasi seperti PT ZTE Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui korelasional dan dengan teknik accidental sampling. Terdapat 130 karyawan yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam kuesioner di penelitian ini. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu Organizational Climate Measure (OCM) yang dikembangkan oleh Patterson, lalu alat ukur Innovative Work Behavior yang dikembangkan oleh De Jong. Analisa korelasional di penelitian ini akan menggunakan statistik SPSS Versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya korelasi signifikan antara organizational climate dan innovative work behavior. Harapan dari penelitian ini semoga bisa menjadi bahan acuan bagi perusahaan untuk menciptakan iklim organisasi positif demi mendorongnya perilaku inovasi karyawan. Kata Kunci: organizational climate, innovative work behavior, karyawan PT ZTE Indonesia, perkembangan teknologi , komunikasi In the era of globalization, the development of technology and information that is increasingly sophisticated and has an impact on the increasing use of communication services in Indonesia. For telecommunications-based companies, it is very important to provide the best quality service in order to compete in the global market. Companies are required to continue to create the latest innovations in each of its products and services. Current situation require employees to bring up innovative behavior in order to achieve company goals. This study was conducted to determine whether there is a correlation between organizational climate and innovative work behavior in employees who work in telecommunications companies such as PT ZTE Indonesia. This study uses quantitative methods through correlation and accidental sampling techniques. There were 130 employees who participated in the questionnaire in this study. The measuring tool used is the Organizational Climate Measure (OCM) developed by Patterson, then the Innovative Work Behavior measurement tool developed by De Jong. The correlational analysis in this study will use SPSS Version 20 statistics. The results show that there is a significant correlation between organizational climate and innovative work behavior. Hopefully this research can afford reference for companies to create a positive organizational climate in order to encourage employee innovation behavior.
