Abstract
The development of communication era today, many media can be used for expression. One of them is film, through film audiences as active viewers who are increasingly smart in responding to issues that are happening in the community. As an active audience the audience is able to take the implied messages in a film and be able to raise the issue to make a message. One of them is the issue of sex education in the film two blue lines. This study aims to find out how the Analysis of Sex Education Reception Film Two Blue Lines in adolescents in South Meruya, West Jakarta. Reception Analysis Theory by Stuart Hall explains the audience as active viewers interpreting the contents of media messages through three possible positions, namely: the position of Dominant Hegemony (audience acceptance of media content), Negotiations (Acceptance of the audience towards the contents of the media but reject its application), and the Opposition (Critical audiences in the contents of the media even reject it). The research method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The paradigm of this research is the constructivist paradigm with the subjects of the research are the youth in South Meruya, West Jakarta who have watched the Two Lines Blue Film. Where researchers collect data primary and secondary. The primary data are Focus Group Discussion, Observation, Interview of 10 respondents using Focus Group Discussion observations. While secondary data through study documentation. Based on the results of the study showed that the analysis of the sex education reception of the two blue lines includes four things namely, the storyline, story ideas, cast, and moral messages that the director wants to convey to the active audience. Keywords: Movie reception, Sex Education, Active Audience Berkembangnya era komunikasi dewasa ini, banyak media yang dapat digunakan untuk berekspresi. Salah satunya adalah Film, melalui film khalayak sebagai penonton aktif kian pintar dalam menanggapi isu-isu yang sedang terjadi di masyarakat. Sebagai penonton aktif khalayak mampu mengambil pesan-pesan tersirat dalam sebuah film dan mampu mengangkat isu tersebut hingga mempretasikan pesannya. Salah satunya adalah isu tentang sex education di film dua garis biru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Analisis Resepsi Sex Education Film Dua Garis Biru pada para remaja di Meruya Selatan Jakarta Barat. Teori Analisis Resepsi oleh Stuart Hall menjelaskan khalayak sebagai penonton aktif menginterpretasikan isi pesan media melalui tiga kemungkinan posisi yaitu: posisi Hegemoni Dominan (Penerimaan khalayak terhadap isi media), Negosiasi (Penerimaan khalayak terhadap isi media namun menolak penerapannya), dan Oposisi (Khalayak kritis dalam isi media bahkan menolaknya). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Paradigma penelitian ini adalah Paradigma konstruktivis dengan subyek penelitiannya adalah para remaja di Meruya Selatan Jakarta Barat yang telah menonton Film Dua Garis Biru. Dimana peneliti mengumpulkan data secara primer dan sekunder. Data primer yaitu Focus Group Disscussion, Observasi, Interview kepada responden sebanyak 10 dengan menggunakan pengamatan Focus Group Discussion. Sedangkan data sekunder melalui studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa analisis resepsi sex education film dua garis biru meliputi empat hal yakni, alur cerita, ide cerita, pemeran, dan pesan moral yang ingin disampaikan oleh sutradara bagi penonton aktif.
