Abstract

Movie is the dominant form of visual mass communication in the world today. More than millions of people watch movies in theaters, films, television and video laser films. In the movie contained informative or educative functions, even persuasive. The use of movie as an educational tool can be an effective means of conveying messages through pictures, sounds and spoken words. Movies are generally built with many signs. The signs include various well-supported sign systems with the intention of achieving the expected results. This study then analyzes each sign that has the values of sex education in "Dua Garis Biru" movies. Sex education is clear and true information about humans, which discusses the process of insemination, pregnancy to birth, sexual behavior, sexual relationships, and aspects of health, psychology and society. This type of research used in this research is descriptive research with qualitative. The method used is the De Saussure Ferdinan Semiotics analysis method in "Dua Garis Biru" movies. Where researchers collect data by watching the " Dua Garis Biru " movies repeatedly and take pictures of some scenes that the authors consider are representations of sex education. Based on Education Values in " Dua Garis Biru " movies depicted in each scene that has been examined in advance both verbally and non-verbally. Researchers hope this research can be a reference for other research needed to find out about the semiotic analysis method and the film industry in Indonesia can produce more movies containing sex education. Keywords : Sex Education, Meaning, Semiotica Film adalah bentuk dominan dari komunikasi massa visual di dunia saat ini. Lebih dari jutaan orang menonton film di bioskop, film, televisi dan film video laser. Dalam film terkandung fungsi informatif maupun edukatif, bahkan persuasive. Penggunaan film sebagai sarana edukasi dapat menjadi sarana yang efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan baik melalui gambar, suara dan kata yang diucapkan. Film umumnya dibangun dengan banyak tanda. Tanda-tanda itu termasuk berbagai sistem tanda yang bekerjasama dengan baik dengan upaya mencapai efek yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini kemudian menganalisis tiap tanda yang memiliki nilai-nilai pendidikan seks dalam film “Dua Garis Biru”. Pendidikan Seks adalah suatu informasi mengenai persoalan seksualitas manusia yang jelas dan benar, yang meliputi proses terjadinya pembuahan, kehamilan sampai kelahiran, tingkah laku seksual, hubungan seksual, dan aspek-aspek kesehatan, kejiwaan dan kemasyarakatan Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis Semiotika Ferdinan De Saussure pada film “ Dua Garis Biru ”. Dimana peneliti mengumpulkan data secara primer dengan menonton film “ Dua Garsi Biru ”secara berulang kali dan mengambil gambar dari beberapa adegan yang penulis anggap merupakan representasi dari pendidikan seks. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Pendidikan Seks pada film “ Dua Garis Biru ” tergambarkan pada setiap scene yang sudah di teliti terlebih dahulu baik verbal maupun non verbal. Peneliti berharap penelitian ini dapat menjadi refrensi bagi penelitian lainnya yang memerlukan pengetahuan tentang metode analisis semiotika dan industri perfilman di Indonesia mampu memproduksi lebih banyak lagi film yang mengandung pendidikan seks.
