Abstract

Taking care of health is a very important thing to do regularly is weight. Ideal body weight is measured using the Body Mass Index (BMI) formula when height is known by measurement tool. Along with the development of technology and Information it will make it easier for someone to see the body mass index automatically and quickly to know the ideal body weight. Making this tool using Ultrasonic Sensor to measure height. The measurement process in control uses the Arduino UNO R3 and the results displayed in Android storage process can be selected using the buttons that are created in the android software. The use of BMI formula as a reference source to know the ideal status or not ideally a person's body. The entire frame is made using an iron material for the Ultrasonic sensor holder. The maximum height limit is 180Cm so it is enough to do normal human measurements. The results of this study states that the parameters that the tool can be taken data by the Arduino system then the data is displayed on android. Berat badan ideal diukur menggunakan rumus Body Mass Index (BMI) bila tinggi badan telah di ketahui dengan alat pengukuran. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan Informasi maka akan mempermudah seseorang untuk melihat indeks masa tubuh secara otomatis dan cepat untuk mengetahui berat badan ideal. Pembuatan alat ini menggunakan Sensor Ultrasonik untuk mengukur tinggi. Proses pengukuran di control menggunakan Arduino UNO R3 dan hasil ditampilkan di Android proses penyimpanan dapat dipilih menggunakan tombol yang di buat di software android. Penggunaan rumus BMI sebagai sumber referensi untuk mengetahui status ideal atau tidak idealnya tubuh seseorang. Keseluruhan kerangka dibuat menggunakan material besi untuk dudukan sensor Ultrasonik. Batas maksimal tinggi 180Cm sehingga cukup untuk melakukan pengukuran manusia normal. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa parameter bahwa alat dapat di ambil datanya oleh system Arduino kemudian data tersebut ditampilkan pada android.
