Abstract

ABSTRAK Seiring berkembangnya pengetahuan dan teknologi di industri manufaktur membuat persaingan didalamnya menjadi semakin ketat termasuk dalam hal pencapaian key performance indicator (KPI) perusahaan. Salah satu aspek KPI PT UVW adalah dalam hal pencapaian overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Berdasarkan data KPI PT UVW pada bulan Januari – Agustus 2018 OEE masih belum tercapai sesuai dengan target manajemen. Target manajemen adalah 98%, sedangkan pencapaian OEE periode tersebut adalah 93,7%. Berdasarkan data tersebut berarti terdapat losses sebesar 6,3%. Berdasarkan analisa total productive maintenance (TPM) dan six big losses pareto dari losses tersebut adalah equipment failure losses sebesar 3,4%. Equipment failure losses berarti kerusakan atau breakdown yang terjadi pada mesin atau peralatan produksi sehingga mengakibatkan berhentinya proses produksi. Mesin door storage conveyor adalah pareto pada equipment failure losses. Ada beberapa masalah yang terjadi pada mesin tersebut, namun berdasarkan pareto ditemukan bahwa masalah LH 6 pusher jam memiliki brekdown time yang paling tinggi. Kemudian dengan analisa sebab akibat ditemukan bahwa faktor manusia, mesin, dan material menjadi akar masalah pada masalah tersebut. Sehingga untuk meningkatkan OEE pada PT UVW perlu dilakukan perbaikan pada sisi equipment failure losses. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada mesin door storage conveyor problem LH6 pusher jam mampu meningkatkan OEE dari 96,2% menjadi 96,4%. Kata Kunci : Key Performance Indicator (KPI), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Six Big Losses, Equipment Failure Losses ABSTRACT Development of knowledge and technology in manufacturing industry makes competition becomes strictly, including in terms achievement of key performance indicator (KPI) companies. One aspect of the KPI in PT. UVW is in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Based on PT. UVW’s KPI data on January - August 2018 OEE still has not been achieved from management targets 98%. Based on data, there are losses of 6.3%. Based on analysis of total productive maintenance (TPM) and six big losses pareto losses is equipment failure losses of 3.4%. Equipment failure losses means damage or breakdown that occurs in the equipment or production tool that impact to the production process stop. Door storage conveyor machine is pareto of equipment failure losses. There are several problems that occur on that machine, and LH 6 pusher jammed problem has the highest breakdown time. By cause and effect analysis it was found that human, machine, and material factors were root cause of the problem. So that to increase OEE in PT. UVW, improvements to the equipment failure losses are needed. After impelementation improvement on door storage conveyor problem LH6 pusher jammed will be able to increase OEE from 96.2% to 96.4%.
