Abstract
This study was to analyze the influences of work motivation and organizational culture on career development and their effects on employees’s performance. The objects of this study were employees of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan DKI Jakarta area. As much as 99 respondents filled out questionnaires, the samples were taken using the Slovin formula from a total population of 131 employees. The research was conducted from August until October 2018, at the Cilandak, Pluit and Kebon Sirih Branch Offices. The sampling technique used was a proportionate simple random sampling. Data were analyzed by using path analysis software SmartPLS (Partial Least Square). The results of this study showed that work motivation and organizational culture directly had positive and significant influences on employes performa. Meanwhile, career development had mediated the influences of work motivation and organizational culture on employee performance at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. On BPJS Ketenagakerjaan’s employees in Cilandak, Pluit and Kebon Sirih Branch Offices, the direct influence are bigger than the indirect influence. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja dan budaya organisasi terhadap pengembangan karier serta pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan wilayah DKI Jakarta. Sebanyak 99 responden mengisi kuesioner, sampel diambil menggunakan rumus Slovin dari total populasi 131 karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus sampai bulan Oktober 2018, di Kantor Cabang Cilandak, Pluit dan Kebon Sirih. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling proporsional. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan aplikasi analisis jalur SmartPLS (Partial Least Square). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan budaya organisasi secara langsung memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sementara itu, pengembangan karier menjadi mediasi antara pengaruh motivasi kerja dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Pada karyawan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan di Kantor Cabang Cilandak, Pluit dan Kebon Sirih, pengaruh langsung lebih besar daripada pengaruh tidak langsung.
