Abstract
This documentary film tells about the process of making civet coffee, as well as how to care for civet animals by applying animal welfare principles, in one coffee civet production and breeding house, located in Cikole Village, Lembang, West Bandung Regency. And thus, the documentary film was titled ‘KOPI LUWAK CIKOLE’. Based on the director's concentration, the film is divided into three rounds. The first round shows how to maintain the civet animals. The second round shows how the process of making civet coffee from beginning to end. Final round, showing conclusions and visitor interviews. The documentary film "KOPI LUWAK CIKOLE" is a type of Science using the concept of essays and narrative approaches, an exposition style with sound as a single speaker. This expected film can be used as a medium of learning education that provides information about civet coffee and the care of civet animals properly and correctly, to the public from various backgrounds. Film dokumenter ini bercerita tentang proses pembuatan kopi luwak, serta cara merawat hewan luwak dengan menerapkan prinsip kesejahteraan hewan, dalam satu produksi luwak kopi dan rumah pembibitan, yang terletak di Desa Cikole, Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Dan dengan demikian, film dokumenter berjudul 'KOPI LUWAK CIKOLE'. Berdasarkan konsentrasi sutradara, film ini dibagi menjadi tiga babak. Babak pertama menampilkan bagaimana pemeliharaan hewan luwak. Putaran kedua menampilkan bagaimana proses pembuatan kopi luwak dari awal hingga akhir. Babak final, menampilkan kesimpulan dan wawancara pengunjung. Film dokumenter "KOPI LUWAK CIKOLE" adalah jenis Ilmu Pengetahuan yang menggunakan konsep essai dan pendekatan naratif, gaya eksposisi dengan suara sebagai penutur tunggal. Film ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pendidikan yang memberikan informasi tentang kopi luwak dan pemeliharaan hewan luwak dengan baik dan benar, kepada masyarakat dari berbagai kalangan.
