Abstract
The purpose of this study was to estimate and analyze the effect of dividend policy, profitability, firm size, leverage, and growth on firm value in financial sector that listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013 to 2017. The method used is a quantitative method with a type of causality research. The population in this study were all financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2017, which were 87 companies. Determination of the number of samples is done using non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique and set at 21 companies. The data analysis method used is panel data regression using the program Eviews 8.0. The results showed that firm size, leverage, and growth proved not to have a significant effect on firm value in financial sector companies in the period 2013- 2017. Whereas, dividend policy and profitability proved to have a significant positive effect on firm value in financial sector companies in the period 2013- 2017. Simultaneous results show that dividend policy, profitability, firm size, leverage and growth are proven to have an effect on firm value with a coefficient of determination of 0.333193 (33.33%) and the remaining 66.67% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengestimasi dan menganalisis pengaruh kebijakan dividen, profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, leverage, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian sebab akibat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan sektor keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013 sampai 2017 yaitu sebanyak 87 perusahaan. Penentuan jumlah sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode non- probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling dan ditetapkan sebanyak 21 perusahaan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan menggunakan program Eviews 8.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan, leverage, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan terbukti tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor keuangan periode 2013-2017. Sedangkan kebijakan dividen dan profitabilitas terbukti berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor keuangan periode 2013-2017. Hasil secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan dividen, profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, leverage dan pertumbuhan perusahaan terbukti berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,333193 (33,33%) dan sisanya 66,67% dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Kata Kunci : kebijakan dividen, profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, leverage, pertumbuhan perusahaan, nilai perusahaan.
