Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of designing the cockpit of combat aircraft in accordance with the anthropometry of Indonesian combat pilots. Therefore the purpose of this study was to analyze the results of anthropometry measurements of Indonesian combat pilots with 5%, 10%, 50%, 90%, and 95% percentils; and analyzed the ergonomic design of the Indonesian combat cockpit according to Jack's software analysis. This quantitative-descriptive research with this type of case study attempts to calculate and analyze the anthropometry of Indonesian combat fighter pilots to serve as a basis for designing the combat cockpit. The study sample consisted of 89 combat pilots. In the data collection, the researcher selects five percentiles (5%, 10%, 50%, 90%, and 95%), and selects three percentiles (5%, 50%, and 95%) for analysis by Jack software. Meanwhile, the results of eye view analysis showed good results. Keywords: Anthropometry, ergonomics, fighter cockpit, percentile, eye view analysis. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pentingnya mendesain kokpit pesawat tempur yang sesuai dengan antropometri penerbang tempur Indonesia. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hasil pengukuran antropometri penerbang tempur Indonesia dengan presentil 5%, 10%, 50%, 90%, dan 95%; dan menganalisis desain ergonomi kokpit pesawat tempur Indonesia menurut analisis software Jack. Penelitian kuantitatif -deskriptif dengan jenis studi kasus ini berupaya menghitung dan menganalisis antropometri tubuh pilot -pilot pesawat tempur Indonesia untuk dijadikan dasar dalam mendesain kokpit pesawat tempur. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 89 penerbang tempur. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti memilih lima persentil (5%, 10%, 50%, 90%, dan 95%), dan memilih tiga persentil (5%, 50%, dan 95%) untuk analisis melalui software Jack. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas data antropmetri secara umum sudah baik, namun masih dapat ditingkatkan kualitasnya. Hal ini mengingat nilai jangkauan (range)-nya masih relatif besar. Begitu pula standar deviasi dengan rata-rata 7,61% , untuk dasar desain kokpit pesawat tempur, masih perlu diperbaiki. Sementara itu hasil eye view analysis menunjukkan hasil yang baik.
