Abstract
ABSTRAK PT.XYZ adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang komponen otomotif yang memproduksi kompressor, busi, Radiator, AC bus dan lain-lain. Tingginya persaingan antar produk menuntut perusahaan memberikan yang terbaik bagi konsumennya. Kualitas adalah salah satu jaminan yang harus diberikan dan dipenuhi oleh perusahaan kepada pelanggan. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh PT.XYZ khusus nya line assembling 4 radiator adalah tingginya tingkat kebocoran radiator. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa penyebab terjadinya kebocoran, merekomendasi penanggulangan untuk mencegah terulangnya kebocoran dan mengetahui persentase penurunan kebocoran di lini kerja assembling 4 divisi Radiator dengan menggunakan metode PDCA. Berdasarkan penelitian dan pengumpulan data dilapangan didapati tingkat kebocoran sebesar 0,98% dengan proporsi bocor packing slip, tube colaps, dan P-tank scrach. Pengolahan data menggunakan Histogram, Pareto Diagram, dan Fishbone Diagram. Setelah dilakukan improvement persentase bocor turun sebesar 0,55% dari 0,98 % menjadi 0,43%. ABSTRACT PT.XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the automotive component sector which produces compressors, spark plugs, radiators, AC buses and others. The high competition between products requires companies to provide the best for consumers. Quality is one of the guarantees that must be given and fulfilled by the company to customers. The problem faced by PT. XYZ especially its line assembling 4 radiators is the high level of radiator leakage. The purpose of this study was to analyze the causes of leakage, recommend countermeasures to prevent recurrence of leaks and determine the percentage of leak reduction in the Radiator division 4 assembly line using the PDCA method. Based on research and field data collection, the leakage rate was 0.98% with the proportion of leaked packing slips, tube colaps, and P-tank scrach. Processing data using Histograms, Pareto Diagrams, and Fishbone Diagrams. After improvement, the percentage of leakage decreased by 0.55% from 0.98% to 0.43%.
