Abstract

In developing countries such as Indonesia, cultural spaces are very limited and tend to be less attractive to millennials, so the existence of Cultural Parks has the biggest challenge to attract millennials to fulfill cultural spaces. Most of the arts or cultural performances are only held in the form of welcoming tourists or tourists, so that more and more millennials spend more time expressing outside cultures which are increasingly filling the entertainment space of millennials. The development of a cultural center which is proclaimed as a Cultural Park is expected to be able to answer the problems that develop in society between modernization and culture, both of which must be able to work together so that the creation of cultural modernization that does not break away from cultural ethics that have long developed in the taste of the local community and have blended into their personalities. Keywords : Cultural Park , Sleman Cultural Park Di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia, ruang-ruang budaya sangat terbatas dan memiliki kecenderungan kurang diminati kalangan milenial, sehingga keberadaan Taman Budaya memiliki tantangan terbesar untuk menarik minat kalangan milenial untuk memenuhi ruang-ruang budaya. Kesenian atau pertunjukan budaya sebagian besar hanya diselenggarakan dalam bentuk penyambutan turis atau wisatawan, sehingga makin banyak kalangan milenial lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu dengan mengekspresikan kebudayaan-kebudayaan luar yang makin hari makin menjamur mengisi ruang hiburan kalangan milenial. Pembangunan pusat budaya yang dicanangkan sebagai Taman Budaya diharapkan mampu menjawab masalah-masalah yang berkembang dimasyarakat antara modernisasi dan kebudayaan, keduanya harus mampu berjalan bersama sehingga terciptanya modernisasi kebudayaan yang tidak melepas diri dari etika kebudayaan yang sudah lama berkembang lebih dahulu secara cita rasa masyarakat setempat dan telah menyatu dengan kepribadian mereka.
