Abstract

ABSTRAK Teknologi Wireless saat ini semakin berkembang seiring dengan semakin tingginya kebutuhan komunikasi di masyarakat. Hal ini tentu harus didukung oleh spesifikasi perangkat yang lebih baik dan efisien dimana salah satunya adalah antena. Antena mikrostrip saat ini merupakan salah satu jenis antena yang banyak dilakukan penelitian oleh dosen maupun mahasiswa karena bentuknya yang dapat diatur sedemikian rupa sehingga diharapkan lebih efisien dan praktis. Pada penelitian ini akan dirancang antena mikrostrip Double E-shaped dengan teknik pencatuan proximity coupling yang akan diaplikasikan di layanan S-Band. Layanan S-Band itu sendiri berada direntang frekuensi 2 - 4 GHz yang dapat melayani layanan broadband. Tahap awal perancangan dengan memperhitungkan dimensi antena menggunakan rumus yang berlaku untuk didapatkan dimensi yang cocok, kemudian dilakukan optimasi terhadap slot feed dan posisi huruf E di patch antena menggunakan simulasi Ansoft HFSS hingga didapatkan hasil optimasi yang paling baik. Dari hasil perancangan tersebut diharapkan didapat satu bentuk antena mikrostrip berbentuk Double E-shaped dengan teknik Proximity Coupling dengan frekuensi kerja 2,5 GHz, return loss sebesar -18,573 dB, bandwidth sebesar 144 MHz, VSWR sebesar 1,265 dan didapatkan gain sebesar 5,8 dB dengan hasil pola radiasi omnidirectional terpenuhi sesuai yang diharapkan. This certainly must be supported by a better device specification and efficient where one is the antenna. Mikrostrip antenna currently is one of the many type of antenna research done by professors or students due to its shape which can be arranged so that expected more efficient and practical. On this research will be designed antenna mikrostrip Double E-shaped with a proximity coupling supply techniques will be applied in the S-Band service. S-Band service itself is strung on each 2-4 GHz frequency which can serve broadband services. The early stages of the design taking into account the dimensions of the antenna using the formula that applies to a suitable dimension is obtained, then the optimization is done against the slot feeds and the position of the letter E on the patch antenna using Ansoft HFSS simulation to obtained the best optimization results. From the results obtained are expected to design a form of antenna mikrostrip antenna Double E-shaped with Proximity Coupling with a frequency of 2.5 GHz, return loss amounting to -18.573 dB, bandwidth of 144 MHz, VSWR of 1.265 and it brings the gain of 5.8 dB and radiation pattern is omnidirectional radiation pattern and all the results fulfilled as expected.
