Abstract
ABSTRAK Sistem komunikasi satelit sudah menjadi solusi terbaik di era kekinian yang praktis, tak terbatas dan modern. Segala kebutuhan komunikasi dapat dipenuhi sehingga membuka peluang lebar untuk lebih maju. Pemerataan infrastruktur menjadi hal utama sehingga menuntut performa yang maksimal. Maka kajian mengenai optimalisasi jaringan menjadi pedoman untuk memprediksikan segala hal yang dapat menurunkan performasi jaringan tersebut. Perhitungan link budget dan penelitian observasi pada sisi HUB Ku-Band di Bogor menjadi dasar apakah nilai yang muncul sudah memenuhi syarat minimum operasional Eb/No dengan margin yang sudah disesuaikan terhadap kondisi geografis Kota Bogor yang mempunyai intensitas hujan tinggi sehingga menjadi salah satu redaman hujan yang berdampak pada menurunnya performansi HUB Ku-Band itu sendiri. Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Satelite, HUB Ku-Band, Link Budget, Redaman Hujan Optimalisasi ABSTRACT Satellite communications system has become the best solution in the present era are practically unlimited, and modern. All communication needs can be met so that it opens wide opportunities for more advanced. Equitable infrastructure being the main thing so that demand maximum performance. Study on the optimization of the network then becomes a guideline to predict everything that can degrade the network performasi. Calculation of link budget and observation on the research HUB Ku-Band at Bogor to base whether the value appears already qualified operational minimum Eb/No with margins already adjusted against the geographical condition of Bogor City which has rain intensity high so that it becomes one of the rain attenuation which resulted in decreased performance HUB Ku-Band itself.
