Abstract
PT XYZ. Plan B division is a manufacturing company that produces motorcycle tires. Machines used in the production process are many, however, of all the existing machines, Building machine Plant B PT XYZ has low level of productivity especially on Building Machine 01, so the level of effectiveness need to be analyzed. The study began by measuring the level of effectiveness of the machine by using the method of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) followed by measurement of six big losses to determine the losses that occur on a machine, then the causal diagram can be analyzed real problem which is the main cause of losses that occurred in machine Building. The average value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of Building 01 machines in the period of April 2019 is 75.01%, where this value is did not equals with the JIPM standard of 85%. The biggest average losses were found in Idling & Minor Stoppages Losses, then followed by reduced speed losses that is equal to 12.50%,. The root cause of the problem of not achieving the OEE value is that there is a waiting time from the operator when they want to place a green tire due to the fact that there are still other green tires on the hanging conveyor, and because there is a stunted process that causes a failed process (failed turn up) due to bead during the process apart from the existing BSR groove. From the problem, it is suggested to make a place to put a temporary green tire and make a bolt retaining on existing BSR Keywords: Building Machine, TPM, OEE, Six Big Losses, Cause & Effect Diagram, Pareto Diagram. PT XYZ divisi Plant B merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi ban motor (Motorcycle Tire). Mesin yang digunakan dalam proses produksinya cukup banyak, namun dari semua mesin yang ada, mesin Building Plant B PT XYZ memiliki tingkat produktivitas yang cukup rendah khususnya pada mesin Building 01, sehingga diperlukan analisis terhadap tingkat efektivitas dari mesin tersebut. Penelitian dimulai dengan mengukur tingkat efektivitas mesin dengan mengguanakan Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengukuran six big losses untuk mengetahui kerugian (losses) yang terjadi pada mesin, kemudian dengan diagram sebab akibat dapat dianalisis masalah sebenarnya yang menjadi penyebab utama losses yang terjadi pada mesin Building. Nilai rata-rata Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) mesin Building 01 pada periode bulan April 2019 sebesar 75.01%, dimana nilai ini belum memenuhi standar JIPM sebesar 85%. Rata-rata losses yang terbesar terdapat pada Idling & Minor Stoppages Losses yaitu sebesar 13,28%. Kemudian diikuti dengan reduced speed losses yaitu sebesar 12,50%. Akar penyebab permasalahan tidak tercapainya nilai OEE adalah, adanya waktu tunggu dari operator ketika hendak meletakkan Green Tire yang diakibatkan karena masih adanya green tire lain yang terdapat pada hanging conveyor, serta karena adanya proses yang terhambat yang menyebabkan gagal proses (gagal turn up) yang dikarenakan bead pada saat proses terlepas dari groove BSR yang ada. Dari Permasalahan tersebut, disarankan untuk membuat tempat peletakan green tire sementara dan membuat baut penahan pada BSR yang ada.
