Abstract
ABSTRAK Struktur beton memiliki kelebihan dalam memikul beban tekan tetapi kurang kuat dalam memikul beban tarik, untuk mengatasi kekurangan tersebut maka dilakukan penambahan besi tulangan yang memiliki kuat tarik yang besar. Kerusakan pada kontruksi beton dapat terjadi dikarenakan kesalahan dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan konstruksi atau juga tahap operasional karena kelebihan beban akibat pemanfaatan yang tidak sesuai rencana. Konstruksi balok tangga pada kantor kecamatan sawah besar mengalami keretakan yang melebihi dari ambang batas yang disyaratkan. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan ulang dengan berdasarkan persyaratan pada SNI 1727:2013 tentang pembebanan bangunan gedung dan SNI 2847:2013 mengenai persyaratan beton struktural untuk bangunan gedung didapatkan bahwa bangunan masih kuat dalam memikul beban rencana. Dan melalui proses value engineering dapat dilakukan reduksi dimensi balok agar mendapat nilai yang lebih ekonomis Kata Kunci : Kerusakan Beton, Perbaikan Struktur balok, Value engineering, SNI 2847:2013, SNI 1727:201 ABSTRACT The concrete structure has the advantage of carrying compressive loads but is less strong in carrying tensile loads, to overcome these shortcomings, the addition of reinforcing with rebar steel wich has a large tensile strength. Damage to concrete construction can occur due to errors in planning, construction implementation or also the operational stage because of overload due to utilization that is not according to plan. Stair beam construction in the Kecamatan Sawah Besar office experienced cracks that exceeded the required threshold. After recalculation based on the requirements of SNI 1727: 2013 concerning the loading of buildings and SNI 2847: 2013 concerning the requirements of structural concrete for buildings, it was found that the building was still strong in carrying out the burden of the plan.
