Abstract

This study aims to determine correlation between religiosity and resilience in college students with full-time job. Sampling method was done by convenience sampling technique within 209 of participants college students with full-time job criteria in University Mercu Buana Menteng. Measuring instruments in this study are the scale of religiosity developed by Huber & Huber (in Farah and Bambang, 2017), and the scale of resilience developed by Wagnild & Young (1993) and Watson (1988). The results of the Pearson analysis in this study show the existence of a positive correlation between religiosity and resilience in college students with full-time job, when religiosity is high will increase resilience. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to be a reference for students with full-time job to be able to improve their religious life so that resilience rises, in order to make students with full-time job stronger and resilient. Keywords: religiosity, resilience, work students, Mercu Buana, Jakarta Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara religiusitas dengan resiliensi pada mahasiswa yang bekerja penuh waktu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik convenience sampling dengan partisipan sebanyak 209 orang pada mahasiswa reguler 2 Universitas Mercu Buana Kampus Menteng, dengan kriteria mahasiswa yang bekerja penuh waktu. Alat ukur pada penelitian ini adalah skala religiusitas yang dikembangkan oleh Huber & Huber (dalam Farah dan Bambang, 2017), dan skala resiliensi yang dikembangkan oleh Wagnild & Young (1993) dan Watson (1988). Hasil dari analisis Pearson dalam penelitian ini menunjukan adanya hubungan yang positif antara religiusitas dengan resiliensi pada mahasiswa yang bekerja penuh waktu, semakin tinggi religiusitas maka semakin tinggi pula resilensi. Oleh karena itu hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi mahasiswa yang bekerja penuh waktu untuk dapat meningkatkan jiwa religius agar resiliensinya pun naik, guna menjadikan mahasiswa yang bekerja penuh waktu semakin kuat dan resilien.
