Abstract

Caring for children who have developmental disorder ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is very difficult for a mother. The impact of the disorder that the child experiences certainly makes the mother vulnerable to stress during parenting. This condition certainly has an impact on the psychological well-being of the mother. One of the things that can encourage the psychological well-being of the mother is social support. The closest social support you can feel is social support from your partner. This study aims to determine the relationship between the support of married couples who are healthy and the welfare of mothers who have ADHD children in inclusive primary schools. The research approach used is a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique, with a total of 42 respondents (N = 42) with an age range of 28-60 years. The measuring instruments used are the Social Provision Spouse Scale Version (SPSSV Test) from Cutrona and Russell (1989) and the Psychological Well Being Scale from Ryff (1995) which has been adapted by researchers. Based on the Spearman Brown trial, the value of r = 0.594 and p = 0.000 was obtained. The results showed a strong relationship between the social support of the spouse (husband) and the psychological well-being of mothers who have ADHD children in inclusive primary schools. The dimension of guidance and the existence of a reliable partner (husband) when needed with a close relationship in increasing the dimension of life goals and the ability to build positive relationships with others around. Merawat anak yang memiliki gangguan perkembangan ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) sangatlah tidak mudah bagi seorang ibu. Dampak dari gangguan yang anak alami tentunya membuat ibu rentan akan stress selama pengasuhan.Kondisi ini tentu berdampak pada kesejahteraan psikologis ibu. Salah satu hal yang dapat mendorong meningkatnya kesejahteraan psikologis ibu adalah dengan adanya dukungan sosial. Dukungan sosial yang terdekat yang dapat ibu rasakan adalah dukungan sosial dari pasangan (suami). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial dari pasangan (suami) dikaitkan dengan kesejahteraan psikologis ibu yang memiliki anak ADHD di sekolah dasar inklusi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penyebaran kuesioner. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan keseluruhan responden sebanyak 42 orang(N=42) dengan rentang usia 28 – 60 tahun. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Social Provisions Spouse Scale Version (SPSSV Test) dari Cutrona dan Russel (1989) dan Psychological Well Being Scale dari Ryff (1995) yang telah diadaptasi oleh peneliti. Berdasarkan pada uji korelasi Spearman Brown diperoleh nilai r = 0,594 dan p = 0,000. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara dukungan sosial pasangan (suami) dengan kesejahteraan psikologis ibu yang memiliki anak ADHD di sekolah dasar inklusi. Dimensi bimbingan dan keberadaan pasangan (suami) yang dapat diandalkan saat dibutuhkan memiliki hubungan yang erat dalam meningkatkan dimensi tujuan hidup dan kemampuan membangun hubungan yang positif dengan orang lain disekitar.
