Abstract

ABSTRAK Peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan perkembangan aktifitas akan menyebabkan kebutuhan ruang yang tiap hari semakin bertambah, hal ini akan berdampak terjadinya perubahan fisik dan penggunaan lahan kota serta dapat meyebabkan meningkatnya intensitas pergerakan penduduk dari kota Megapolitan seperti Bekasi, Bogor dan Tangerang menuju kota Metropolitan (DKI Jakarta). Beberapa orang saat ini sudah mulai berpindah dari kendaraan pribadi menjadi menggunakan transportasi publik (massal) seperti bus, transjakarta, dan kereta rel listik atau yang biasa dikenal KRL Commuter Line yang melayani rute Jabodetabek. Dampak persilangan juga menyebabkan terjadinya penumpukan di setiap stasiun. Perjalanan kereta dengan jalur tunggal (single track) dinilai tidak efektif dan efisien serta kerawanan akan kecelakan kereta api akibat human eror. Perlu adanya pembangunan atau pengembangan jalur ganda (double track) menjadi jalur ganda – ganda (double - double track) Stasiun Bekasi km 26+652 – Stasiun Jatinegara km 12+050. Lokasi penelitian yaitu pada trase jalan kereta api dari Stasiun Bekasi sampai Stasiun Jatinegara. Panjang lintasan kereta api sekitar 16 km dan memiliki 7 stasiun yang dilewati, 5 diantarnya stasiun aktif (berhenti) dan 2 stasiun pasif (tidak berhenti) Sesuai dengan analisa data dan kondisi dilapangan trase jalan kereta api dalam Perencanaan Jalur Rel Ganda (Double-Double Track) Stasiun Jatinegara (12+050) sampai Stasiun Bekasi (26+652) menggunakan tipe rel R.54, kelas jalan I, kecepatan maksimal 80 km/jam, lebar sepur 1067 mm, tipe bantalan N-67 dengan jarak antar bantalan 60 cm, tebal balas 52 cm, tebal sub-balas 30 cm, sambungan rel plat baut dan las termit dan penambat tipe DE Clips Kata kunci : Jalan rel, perencanaan, kereta api, struktur jalan rel .
