Abstract

ABSTRAK Pesatnya pembangunan di bidang struktur seperti Gedung bertingkat maupun jalan raya memicu perkembangan teknologi beton terutama beton mutu tinggi. Untuk menjawab tantangan terhadap peningkatan kebutuhan mutu tinggi, maka penulis melakukan penelitian menggunakan Nikel Slag sebagai bahan subtitusi semen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari subtitusi semen dengan Nikel Slag pada komposisi beton mutu tinggi K 600 terhadap kuat tekan beton. Metode yang dilakukan dalam peneltian adalah eksperimental dengan melakukan trial mix yang dilakukan di Laboratorium PT Wijaya Karya Beton Bogor. Dari hasil penelitian didapat bahwa prosentase subtitusi Nikel Slag terhadap semen sebesar 10 % didapat kuat tekan yang lebih tinggi dari komposisi control. Kuat tekan yang didapat sebesar 62,55 Mpa pada kuat tekan beton umur 28 hari, sementara untuk kuat tekan control didapat angka 55,75 Mpa pada umur 28 hari. Kata Kunci : Nikel Slag, Kuat Tekan, Subtitusi. ABSTRACT The rapid development in the field of structures such as high rise buildings and highways triggered the development of concrete technology, especially high quality concrete. To answer the challenges of increasing the need for high quality, the authors conducted a study using Nickel Slag as a cement substitution material. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the substitution of cement with Nickel Slag on the composition of high quality concrete K 600 on the compressive strength of concrete. The method used in this research is experimental by conducting trial mix conducted in the Laboratory of PT Wijaya Karya Beton Bogor From the results of the study found that the percentage of substitution of Slag Nickel to cement by 10% obtained a compressive strength higher than the composition of the control. The compressive strength obtained was 62.55 MPa for the compressive strength of 28 days of age, while for the compressive strength of control was 55.75 MPa at 28 days.
