Abstract
The easier flow of incoming information and the increase in education in the field of architecture have contributed to the architectural treasury in Indonesia. The growth of development as well as the richer architectural treasury demands a more coordinated, anticipatory approach to architecture and a higher level of oversight. So that later it will show the extent of the architectural space that has an identity and a reflection of the nation's culture. Indonesia is an archipelagic country that has many provinces with various kinds of culture and their respective customs. Indonesia's cultural diversity is a nation's wealth that should be proud and preserved. Keywords: Vernacular architecture, Sleman Regency, Cultural Park Semakin mudahnya arus informasi masuk serta meningkatnya Pendidikan dibidang arsitektur telah memberikan sumbangan terhadap perbendaharaan arsitektur di Indonesia. Pertumbuhan pembangunan serta semakin kayanya perbendaharaan arsitektur menuntut pendekatan arsitektur yang lebih terkoordinasi, antisipatif dan tingkat pengawasan yang lebih tinggi. Sehingga nantinya memperlihatkan sejauh mana wujud ruang arsitektural yang memiliki jati diri dan cerminan budaya bangsa. Indonesia merupakan sebuah negara kepulauan yang memiliki banyak jumlah provinsi dengan berbagai macam kebudayaan dan adat istiadat masing-masing. Keberagaman budaya yang dimiliki Indonesia merupakan suatu kekayaan bangsa yang patut dibanggakan dan dilestarikan. Kata kunci: Arsitektur vernacular, Kabupaten Sleman, Taman Budaya
