Abstract

Betoambari Airport located is in Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Based on its classification, this Airport is included in the classification of Class III airports. At this time the increase in aircraft types with larger passenger numbers has significant implications for infrastructure that must be prepared at airports in areas with elevations such as at Betoambari Bau-Bau Airport. The implications for runway length will also affect other geometric needs. Because of this, the Betoambari Bau-Bau Airport then done calculation of planning for runway pavement thickness. In planning this runway pavement, a type of flexible pavement is used using the method FAA is will be done in two ways, the method 150/5320-6D (the manual FAA) and method AC 150/5320-6F (software FAARFIELD). The planning results of the runway length of 1800 meter, the width of the 30 meter runway obtained by the total pavement thickness obtained by manual 53 cm, consisting of 10 cm Surface Course, 15 cm Base Course, 28 cm Subbase Course. Whereas the thickness of the flexible pavement runway using FAARFIELD software obtained total pavement thickness of 47.5 cm, consisting of 10 cm Surface Course, 12.5 cm Base Course, and 25 cm Subbase Course. Keyword: Flexible Pavement, Runway, FAA, Software FAARFIELD, Betoambari Airport Bandar Udara Betoambari terletak di Kota BauBau, Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Berdasarkan klasifikasinya, bandar udara ini termasuk ke dalam klasifikasi bandar udara kelas III. Pada saat ini peningkatan jenis pesawat dengan jumlah penumpang lebih besar memiliki implikasi yang cukup signifikan untuk infrastruktur yang harus disiapkan pada bandar udara di daerah dengan ketinggian seperti di Bandar Udara Betoambari Bau-Bau, implikasi terhadap panjang landasan juga akan mempengaruhi terhadap kebutuhan geometrik lainnya. Karena hal tersebut Bandar Udara Betoambari Bau-Bau maka dilakukan perhitungan perencanaan tebal perkerasan landas pacu / runway. Dalam perencanaan perkerasan runway ini digunakan jenis perkerasan lentur yang menggunakan metode FAA yang akan dilakukan dengan dua cara, yaitu metode AC 150/5320-6D (manual FAA) dan metode AC 150/5320-6F (software FAARFIELD). Hasil perencanaan panjang runway 1800 meter, lebar runway 30 meter didapat hasil tebal perkerasan total yang diperoleh dengan cara manual 53 cm, yang terdiri dari 10 cm Surface Course, 15 cm Base Course, 28 cm Subbase Course. Sedangkan pada tebal perkerasan lentur landasan pacu dengan menggunakan software FAARFIELD diperoleh tebal perkerasan total 47.5 cm, yang terdiri dari 10 cm Surface Course, 12.5 cm Base Course, dan 25 cm Subbase Course.
