Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and net profit margin on the return on assets of mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2018. The sample selection used in this study used a saturated sample method and obtained 6 companies as samples. Research data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The more appropriate method used is fixed effect. Partially, it can be seen that only the current ratio variable has a negative but not significant effect and the debt equity ratio variable has a positive but not significant effect, while the net profit margin partially has a positive and significant effect on return on assets. Keyword : current ratio, debt to equity ratio, net profit margin and return on asset Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh current ratio, debt to equity ratio dan net profit margin, terhadap return on asset pada perusahaan sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2018. Pemilihan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sampel jenuh dan didapatkan 6 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Data penelitian diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode yang lebih tepat digunakan adalah fixed effect. Secara parsial menunjukan bahwa hanya variabel current ratio yang berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan dan variabel debt equity ratio berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan, sedangkan net profit margin secara parsial memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return on asset. Kata Kunci : current ratio, debt to equity ratio, net profit margin dan return on asset.
