Abstract
The GMF AeroAsia aircraft repair and maintenance company in the Base Maintenance department suffered 11 pieces of Heat Exchanger component damage in 1 quarter. Therefore this study will be tried to help omprove the quality of Heat Exchanger using FMEA and FTA with the hope of knowing the factors causing damage to the Heat Exchanger component using a fishbone diagram and giving suggestions for improvements so that zero defect can be achieved. Use of fishbone diagrams produces 5 causes of damage, lifetime component over, incomplete tools, procedural errors, poor lighting and complacency. By using FMEA, its known that the highest RPN (Risk Priority Number) value of complacency is 210, thus causing damage to the Heat Exchanger component. From the results of the FMEA earlier, it was further analyzed using the FTA to find out the root of the problem. The results of FTA root causes of complacency are 2, overloaded aircraft and lack of motivation of work. Proposed repairs make improvements to C-Check secheduling of Narrow Body Aircraft Maintenance in accordance with flight hours and TAT (Turn Around Time) and provide reward to employees who have completed maintenance projects. Keywords : Fishbone, Heat Exchanger, FMEA, FTA Perusahaan perbaikan dan perawatan pesawat terbang GMFAeroAsia pada departemen Base Maintenance mengalami 11 buah kerusakan komponen Heat Exchanger dalam 1 kwartal. Oleh karena itu peneliti ini akan mencoba untuk membantu memperbaiki kualitas perawatan Heat Exchanger dengan pendekatan FMEA dan FTA dengan harapan dapat mengetahui faktor penyebab kerusakan komponen Heat Exchanger menggunakan fishbone diagram dan memberikan usulan perbaikan agar zero defect dapat tercapai. Penggunaan fishbone diagram menghasilkan data penyebab kerusakan diketahui ada 5, yaitu lifetime komponen over, tools tidak lengkap, kesalahan prosedur, pencahayaan kurang dan complacency. Dengan menggunakan FMEA diketahui nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) terbesar terdapat pada complacency dengan nilai RPN sebesar 210, sehingga mengakibatkan kerusakan pada komponen Heat Exchanger. Dari hasil FMEA tadi, di analisa lebih lanjut menggunakan FTA untuk mengtahui akar pohon permasalahan. Hasil FTA akar penyebab terjadinya complacency ada 2, yaitu pesawat yang overload dan kurangnya motivasi dalam bekerja. Usulan perbaikan melakukan perbaikan penjadwalan C-Check pesawat Narrow Body Maintenancesesuai dengan Flight Hours dan TAT (Turn Around Time) dan melakukan pemberian reward atau penghargaan kepada karyawan yang telah menyelesaikan project maintenance.
